UNIT/CHAPTER OBJECTIVE/GENERALIZATION/BIG IDEA:


Lesson plan is based on skilled movement. The lesson will also have technology incorporated into the learning.

LESSON OBJECTIVE:
Students will learn different skilled movements and how they play a role in everyday life. They will tell how
these skills impact certain activities.
Student will tell goal of the lesson.
Then on a computer the student will create a Weebly on different skill movements.

STANDARDS ADDRESSED:
Tennessee Physical Education standard 1.3.1 proficiently utilize locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulate skills
to participate in activities.
Evaluate and select information based on digital tools to complete certain tasks.
MATERIALS:
Computer
Internet
Weebly https://www.weebly.com/

BACKGROUND and RATIONALE:


The goal of this lesson is for students to better understand different skill movements and how they affect the body.
With the information provided above the students will create a Weebly.
In the weebly the students will show examples of different sports and different activities that involve certain
skilled movements.

PROCEDURES AND TIMELINE:


Introduction: Each student will be told the days goals and lesson and then be sat at a computer. Next the
student will receive information on the different skills and benefits of having these skills mastered.
Procedures:
1. Give instructions
2. Get students on computer
3. Allow students time to get some information and open weebly
4. Help if needed
Student Procedures
1) Get on Computer
2) Wait for Instructions
3) Go to weebly https://www.weebly.com/
4) Go to articles for skills
5) Create Weebly with the information
6) Save work
7) Turn in work
Closure: Students will present their findings to the class and show there different Weebly that they created to
their classmates.

ASSESSMENT EVIDENCE:
Skilled movements can change the way a person moves and help the person/ athlete out in certain areas. Also it
can help prevent injury if students know how to do certain movements correctly.

MODIFICATIONS:
Modifications will be made for students who could not complete certain skills or needed help in some
area. Also student with disabilities may have to complete skills in different ways.
