are fully open. This valve should be adjusted after first star-up to
give a low differential pressure. This valve should then be left set
position by locking open the valve.
17 Check that there is no oil in the compressor flushing chambers
tertiary seals, by opening their drain valve
18 Open manual valve downstream RO-3014 & RO-3015 so that the
N2 seal gas supply can flow into secondary seal.
Execution Lube Oil System Preparation

c. MCC faulty healthy
Note:
Before starting the lube oil system is necessary to pressurize by
means of N2 the tertiary seals chamber situated between Dry
Mechanical and Bearings.
2 Before start the main oil pump (330-P-4002), following permissives
condition has to be satisfied first:
a. TIT 4023, lube oil temperature not low
b. LIT 4001 dan LIT 4002, lube oil reservoir level not low
c. PIT 4010, seal pressure not low
3 Start the main lube oil pump by pressing start push button in LCS
whenever the starting selector position is in LCS or start from HMI
whenever the starting selector position is in HMI.
4 Open the valve in equalizing flow line of twin filters and coolers.
Equalizing valve is located at upstream RO-3001.
5 Open the vent valves of oil filters in service. Bleed off the air and
close again the valves.

again as soon as they are full.
7 Check the oil pressure to the various points. Bearing in mind that
the oil pressure
8 Check the normal flow of oil coming out from journal and thrust
bearings by means of the flow sight glasses devices.
9 Check the pressure drop through filters. It can be done by using
PDT In case of HH filter shall be switched over to stand by one.
10 Fill completely the lube oil run down tank by opening ball valve in
upstream rundown tank main reservoir. Then close the oil inlet
valve letting the pump run
11 Pre-arrange for starting the stand-by pump and check
