Reflection Paragraph

In my revision, I wanted to go into more detail when it came to my body paragraphs. When I

first wrote that essay sophomore year, I noticed that my body paragraphs were short and did not

develop as much as I wanted it to. I had good evidence in my original essay but it did not have

any reasoning behind it. I improved those body paragraphs by explaining how each of my topics

like conflicts, symbols, and irony, tied into the common theme of the two stories. In my revised

essay, I added more commentary than I did in my original essay. I also tried to extend my

introduction and conclusion. In my previous writings, my introductions and conclusions were

always short and always seemed to lack style. So when I revised this essay, I came up with a

more interesting topic sentence and more interesting concluding thoughts.
