Incorporating group work
to stress the importance of a
productive partnership between the
school and home! It is a goal of
mine to regularly stay in touch with
parents and cue them in on fun
classroom material and
experiences. As the students are
making the transition from the
middle school into the high school, I
will do everything in my power to
ensure that the move goes
smoothly, and provide plenty of
support along the way! If you
should ever have any questions or

In our classroom we want to
develop good learning habits. To do
this we will get in the routine of
1. Explaining lesson objectives
By doing this, the students will
know what the lesson is about, and
what the bigger picture is so we can
relate it to other topics.

Group work is an excellent way for
the students to get to know one
another and build team-like
qualities!
3. Handing in homework at the
beginning of class
Through this routine, students will
get into the habit of being organized
and prepared for class!
For the safety and respect of fellow
students and other teachers, our
class will observe the following
rules:
1. Come to class prepared,
students will not be permitted to go
to their lockers during class.
2. Remain in seats until the bell.
3. No food or drinks.
4. If students are late, they must
have a signed hall pass.
5. If students need to use the
restroom, they will indicate so on a
sign out/sign in sheet.
