I want to be able to think on my feet and be able to teach to the questions my
students are asking me. I want to be able to take a students question and
continue my lesson based on that question.

Strategic Prompt: Why is this topic/focus area important?


This is an important goal in my eyes because it makes me get away from needing
a script when I teach. This will allow me to get my students more involved with
their learning if they feel like their ideas and questions are being taken into
consideration.

To get away from using a script while teaching and use the

I plan to achieve this goal within the first few weeks of lesson planning during my
student teaching.

The lessons will feel more fluid and I will be using less of my ideas and more of the
ideas of my students.

I wont feel the need to have planned out exactly what Im going to say during a
lesson. Most of my lessons will include a discovery activity where the students will
be figuring out whats going on before I fully go into the lesson.
