57. Web. Mar 21, 2017.

This research is the work of University of North Carolina Wilmington. This work is one of

the rarest in the field. It aims at examining the effectiveness of teaching the sound of letter using

computer-assisted instruction with SMART Board technology to persons with disabilities. Three

kindergarten children were involved in the study. The research provides results found out of this

experiment. In addition, the researchers provide the methods used in this study with a detailed

information about the used devices and the steps of the process. This study only can be used for

minimal results because the participants are 3 kids only. The study is strong when it comes to

providing practical methods of using technology in English class.

Technology in Primary Education: Teachers' Perception of Mobile Technology Learning

Impacts and Applications' use in the Classroom." Computers in Human Behavior 56 (2016):

21-8. Web. Mar 22, 2017.

The authors who conducted this research are part of Department of Psychology and

Educational Science, Open University of Catalonia. The study can be trusted since this is made

by researchers who follow a known university in Spain. This research focuses mainly on mobile

use in the primary school classrooms. The information provided in this article are about the

impacts on the applicants who participated in the study. Findings present practical methods of

mobiles usage that are used by teachers like mobile apps and games that help enhance the

understanding of the subjects the interactivity. This research need to have more detailed

information about the apps and what makes them effective.

Furi, D., et al. "Mobile Learning Vs. Traditional Classroom Lessons: A Comparative Study."

Journal of Computer Assisted Learning 31.3 (2015): 189-201. Web. Mar 22, 2017.

This journal article, which was conducted in Spain and published in" Journal of

Computer Assisted Learning which is a peer-reviewed journal and one of the leading

publications in the computer-assisted learning field. It is presenting a comparison between the

mobile learning versus the traditional one. The comparison is about the learning effectiveness

and childrens satisfaction about the teaching method. The researchers in this study used an

IPhone game to measure the improvements. A game that uses augmented reality(AR) to teach a

topic. This work feeds the lack of experience in the use of mobile game-based learning.

The limitation of this study lies in which the researchers not providing the core reasons

behind the efficiency of this method so, this paperwork is good to be used to proof the

effectiveness of using mobile games but not to show the real reasons behind it.

Qureshi, Mian Baqar Hussain, et al. "The Advantages and Barriers of using Internet in Teaching

and Learning." Language In India 12.11 (2012): 394. Web.

This study is talking about the benefits of using internet in teaching and learning process.

This study is important because it was conducted in a rural place with poor infrastructure

facilities. This can give an idea of how the internet is effective in such places. The goal is to

investigate the point of view of the teachers about the idea of using the internet as a tool. The

second goal is to know what is the instructional use of this technology. Lastly, to know the

barriers of using internet as an effective way for teaching and learning.

The study takes each benefit and analyze it fully to get the full understanding of the

implication and role the technology is taking.

This study can only be used to view the teachers perception not the students.

This article can be trusted because it was published in one of the most famous journals in

United States. ." Journal of Science Education and Technology publishes work of many

researchers after being peer-reviewed. Researchers who conducted this study aimed at examining

the students understanding of the greenhouse effects and global warming. They designed a

curriculum module using technology called Global Warming: Virtual Earth. The students have

carried virtual experiments on greenhouse effects. Then they explore the data and come up with

conclusions on how different effects can alter changes in the earths temperature degree. This

study focuses on the ability of technology-enhanced curriculum to deliver the expected

understanding of complex scientific concepts to students. The limitation of this study can be seen

where this can not be viewed as a comparison between the technology and ordinary class

teaching.
