while relating the 7-minute Khan-style video to the guidelines.
Guided Practice
iii. Instructor demonstrates a step-by-step process to using Explain Everything
via the projector
A step-by-step manual will also be distributed to participants who wish to
work at their own pace
Participants will be creating a practice instructional video based on the step-by-step
manual. This would not be a final video because there would be surrounding noise
from other participants.
Provide learning guidance
Participants will discuss the video they intend to create with the Educational
Technologist and Mathematics Technology Champion and suggestions given for
improvement if required.
Participants will visit an adjacent sound-proof room to create the instructional video.
Elicit performance
Participants will be given 10-minute slots to create their instructional video in the
adjacent noise-free room.
The Educational Technologist Assistant will provide assistance if required.
Provide Feedback
All final videos will be viewed by peers and feedback will be provided.
Since there would have been a lot of scaffolding and assistance in creating the
videos, it is not expected that the final videos would not adhere to multimedia
principles or other guidelines.
Peers will give an anonymous grade to each video based on a rubric grading scale.

CONCLUSION

ii. Instructor will address any misunderstandings from minute paper.

iii. Compliment participants for attending and remind them that the workshop
counts towards their professional Continuing Education Credits (CEU).
iv. Encourage participants to give feedback on the use of their instructional
videos
v. Give participants contact numbers in case they need assistance in the future.

TRAINING EVALUATION
i. Participants will be given a workshop evaluation survey to inform the
instructor on the effectiveness of the workshop training session.
