Read the newspaper report below carefully and answer the questions that follow.

Saturday: A group of friends went hiking in a forest reserve Saturday morning.

When the group stopped to rest near a stream, one ember decided to explore on
his own.

Ten minutes later, the group members heard the cries for help. They
realized their friend was missing, so they quickly ran to look for him. They gasped
when they saw him clutching to a rock on the side of a rocky hill.

The members did not know how to help their friend because they did not
have any climbing equipment with them. Some members called out to their friend
to stay calm, while others shouted for Captain Shield.

Ten minutes later, Captain Shield zipped passed the group and up on the
ledge above the man. He grabbed both of the mans hands and pulled him up of the
ledge. After that Captain Shield carried the man over his shoulders and zipped
down to safety.

The man thanked Captain Shield for saving him. He also apologized to his
friends for wandering off from the group.

According to one member of the group, Captain Shield advised them not to
try rock climbing without proper equipment or an instructor. He also thanked them
for calling for help quickly so he could save their friend.
