necessary.

7. How did the committee arrive to decisions concerning the students least restrictive

The whole ARD committee has to discuss it and the educators give their final

8. As a general educator, what would you need to do to prepare to participate in an
ARD meeting? What do you feel is necessary for you to be most effective ARD team
member possible?

To prepare for ARD meetings you need to bring a\in all test scores from previous
and current years. You need to bring in whatever grades/behavioral records you
have on the child. To be the most effective ARD team member you need to map
out things you are going to say. You also need to have proof that backs up
anything youre going to say. Lastly, you need to build some form of relationship
with the parents before you just go into the meeting (unless it is the very first
meeting of the year).
