Dry erase board & markers for all students


PowerPoint of Arrow Way Addition technique
Handout worksheet of practice problems

Goals:

The students will be given a problem to complete on their own to be worked out on their
dry erase white board.

Objectives:

The students will proceed with the task given and work them problem independently. If in
need of assistance, partners will be assigned.

Instructional Procedures:
1 Talk about ways how students can work out large math problems with arrow way.
2 Have students work out various problems on their white boards
3 Discuss with partners about the answers
4 Instruct the students how the problem is worked with the use of arrow way addition

Closure:
Have students to show me how to work out his or her math problem with arrow way.
