Title : Types of sport that popular
among IIUM Kuantans
students via amount of time
spent by them on sports.
Situation

Psychologically, a person tends to spend more time on something that

popular. Therefore, the project focuses on types of sport that popular
among IIUM Kuantans students. The indicator used in this assignment
is the amount of time spent by student to affiliate in sport and the factor
that vary the information used is the category of sport. There are several
variable involved during the collection of data such as gender, type of
sport, expenditure on sports equipment and lifestyle of the respondents.
The data obtained from a simple random sample of 30 students for indoor
category and another 30 students for outdoor category.

Raw data

Minutes spent by students to affiliate in sports in a week according to

preferred sport category.

Description:

From the figure, it can be seen that student spent an adequate time for
sport in week which is in range of 0-595 minutes. As mentioned in
introduction, if student spent more time on the category of sport, it
indicate the sport is popular.

Description:

The figure shows frequency of student against amount of time spent by

student to involved n sport. A higher reading can be seen in the lowest
part of the graph indicates that student spent less time for outdoor sport.
To compare between the two figures, a higher frequency of student can be
observed in indoor sports rather than outdoor.
