What are your current hobbies and interests? (100 words)

My current hobbies are listening to music,playing traditional music instrument (dol)_, and collect some K-Pop
Music and Stuff. Music is something that I cant lose in my life because music have been part of my life since I
was born in this world. My mom was a singer and my father was a guitar player in their era and when I was a
little I always follow them to go to their music show. In addition to listening to music, I aso interest to learn how
to play music instrument. I have been participating in art community at my campus since 2 years ago. In
my community all of the girls is becoming traditional dancer but I would like to try something new so I
decided to learn traditional music instrument called "DOL" and being the only one girl who play it in
community at that time and we also ever perform our music to welcome Health Minister of Indonesia.
Another hobbies is collect some K-pop music and stuff because Im one of many people in this world that
addicted to Korean music and drama.

What skills/knowledge can you share with your fellow participants to make the activity more successful? (150
words)

Well for skills that I can share with participants to make this activity more succsessfull is showing what I can do
for this culture exchange program like showing to them the traditional dance from Bengkulu. If it was possible I
will sing the one of traditional song from my fathers hometown using Rejang Language. Ill show them how
beautiful this place called Bengkulu and what kind of culture that we have to share with other people from
another country.
What are your social contributions to society in recent 2 years? (150 words)

Ive been following the social activities that made by my lecture. We go to some place in Bengkulu and giving
some free meals for people with mental disorder and go to some place to give information to pregnant women
with high risk not to forget to always check their self to the health services nearby.

Describe one of the social problems (poverty, welfare, education, environment, etc) that occur in your
community? And if you are chosen, after completing the program, how would you solve this problem? (Use any
supporting data such as picture, graph, and table if possible? (250-500 words)

In our society, we know that free sex has become a polemic in our environment. Free sex become one of serious
problem which Bengkulu has right now. Based on data from BKKBN Bengkulu in 2011, there are 3.1% of teens
who did free sex before marriage with 5.1% of them are boys and 1% of them are girls. Based on data, we can
guess that the percentage was so high. Thats why we this problem need to be respond really serious and fast.

For solving the problem, I have some option that might be solutions.
First, we have to reduce the number of perpetrators of sex. We should provide some counseling to parents to
always supervise and accompany their children in choosing friends and let them not to fall into the negative
things.

The second one is to provide sex education to adolescents to reduce or even prevent sexual abuse. In particular
to mitigate the negative impacts such as unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted behavior, depression, and
a sense of sin.

In 300 words, write about yourself and why do you want to join this program

Im kind of person that really like to learn something new in my life especially about culture experience. First time I heard
about this program I was so excited because this program will be held in one of my favorite place that I really want to go in
my life. I'm a l s o really interested in participating in this program because this program is full of benefits. It can
also motivate me to learn many things about cultures not only from my country but from another country too. This
program is really good to improve knowledge and get new experience. Besides, this program is free of costs and
the program will be held in a place that has so many interesting things that we can learn from there. We now that Korea was
so famous by their artist such as Boyband, Girldband, all about their K-Pop music and their K-drama,but there are still so
many incredible things that we can learn by following this culture exchange. I want to know more about their culture and
learn the culture in my real life not only watch from K-drama and their K-Pop music.
After I participate this program I believe that I will get a valuable experiences not only about cultures, but
also about socialization, communication, network, and teamwork and of course the impact is not only useful for
me but also for my community and people around me. It will be useful for my community for example in my art
community in my campus and it will also can motivated them to learn about other culture beside Indonesia.
