Terminology
Additive Manufacturing (AM) is the "process of joining materials
to make objects from 3D model data, usually layer upon layer, as
opposed to subtractive manufacturing methodologies.

Synonyms: additive fabrication, additive processes, additive

techniques, additive layer manufacturing, layer manufacturing
and freeform fabrication

Borromean Rings

It consists of three rings, linked so

that they cannot be pulled apart.
But no individual ring links with any
other. It is only the object as a
whole which cannot be
disentangled.
