4 baskets before the class start I need to prepare the baskets with the balls for balls the activity, and make sure that the smart board is working. worksheets scissors glues Key vocabulary/ Target Language vowels: u, a, e, o, i words with ow oa sound. Cow, window, glow, boat, coat.. words of the week: laugh, soon, paper, talk, done, great, work, were.

-I will start the lesson by reviewing the words of the week.
-Then I will choose the teacher of the day, he/she will take the pointer to point on the words and read them while the rest of the students repeat the words. -After that I will introduce for them the following: new vocabulary with the ow and oa sound. the vowels
The ow and oa challenge (groups)
-I will divide the students into two groups, the blue and the green team. -Each team will have two baskets, one empty and the other include colorful balls with different words and some of them with sound ow or oa. - The two teams will line up. -They have to find the words with the sound ow, oa and put them in the empty basket, each student will take his turn. - the team who collect more balls is the winner.
Ow Folded sheet (medium ability)

At first I will explain them how to do it by showing them an example.
Each student will have a sheet with pictures and word with missing letters. They will complete the words, then they will cut the words and stick them under the pictures and fold the sheet in the right way to get a nice folded sheet. Find the hidden words (high ability) Each students will have a sheet where they have to find the hidden words that have the sound ow such as, low, mow, bowl, grow...
The vocabulary spinner (whole class)
In a circle we will play the vocabulary spinner game which include spelling, acting, drawing, repeating, writing and create sentences. At first I will spin it, then it will stop on a student and he/she will do what is written. After that he will spin it and goes on..
Closing I will check their comprehension by asking them to give me words with the two vowelsow oa.
