STANAG3910/ EFEX Resource Component

The PBA.pro-STANAG component handles single or

multiple STANAG3910/ EFEX resources providing
access to all Bus Controller, Multiple Remote
Terminal, Chronological Bus Monitor and Physical Bus
PBA.pro- STANAG
Replay with Databus Analyser and supersedes the
legacy PBA-3910 Software.
The component is fully scriptable (using the optional
PBA.pro-TSM component) and includes additional setup,
control and visualisation of onboard Discretes designed into
AIM's latest generation STANAG3910/ EFEX test and
simulation modules. It also handles setup and control of the
optional CTX hardware module for 3910/ EFEX Fibre Optical
Waveform validation.
The PBA.pro-STANAG resource functionality is accessed
TM
via the PBA.pro Resource Manager.
RT names can be configured globally and are used
throughout the entire system (BC, RT, BM and Replay).

General Board & Status Information
The PBA.pro-STANAG System Overview offers visualisation
and control of resource/ board level information. Quick
access to various setup and display windows is provided.
Bus Controller
The Bus Controller node offers displays to define and execute Bus
Controller transactions by means of a transfer list and framing setup.

 Multiple Remote Terminal
The Remote Terminal node provides RT set-up with displays and control
of multiple Remote Terminals in either full simulation or mailbox
simulation mode.

Chronological Bus Monitor
The Bus Monitor node provides access to all Bus Monitor related functions:
Real time - individual Online Activity Monitor for LS and HS
Tabular session files with search, filter, merge, data export options and
customisable column ordering (incl. Data word columns)
Multiple views for 1553 only, 3910/ EFEX only and correlated (mixed)
1553 and 3910/ EFEX messages
Event marker generation and correlation with stack display
Filter library for definition and handling of conditions applied to captured
messages for online (stream scanner) and offline (post analysis)
operations
Alias definition for resolving transaction attributes
H/W Filter and comprehensive H/W Trigger with support for single
conditions or complex trigger sequences
Detailed message display with stack-walk controls and displays of all
message attributes
Graphical and statistical message analysis with correlation into stack
display & re-creation of BC setup derived from captured traffic
Import of PBA-3910 recording files supported
Replay
The Replay node supports replay of previously recorded STANAG3910/
EFEX recording files physically to the bus. Responses of individual RT's can
be suppressed during replay to support real equipment being present in the
test setup concurrently with simulated equipment.
Discretes (for AIM cards with onboard Discrete I/Os)
The Discretes node provides setup and control functions for onboard Discrete
I/Os including a chronological bus monitor.
Database Manager (using optional PBA.pro-STANAG-DBM component)
The STANAG3910/ EFEX Database Manager component provides Engineering
Unit Conversion and several extensions:
Display BC or RT related parameters on resource node
Parameter information added to individual messages in the
chronological bus monitor
Assign displays to show dedicated properties of an object or parameters
with options to check and control parameter values
Export of parameters for off-line analysis via PBA.proTM (tabular and
graphically) or third party tools
Import of ParaView Databases (.pdi format) supported
