Angela Davis was born on January 26, 1944 in Birmingham Alabama. Her parents were Sally Davis and Frank Davis. Angela attend Birmingham Alabama Public Schools until 1959. Starting out being a active member in her church and living her dream with writing. Angela grew up with people influenced her intellectual development. She was involved with the black panthers. Angela Davis stood for this POWER & EQUALITY everywhere she went. She stuck up for herself as much as possible. Angela was wanted by the FBI because she was apart of the black Panthers (1970). Spending 18 months in New York Womens Detention center. One of her famous books in 2015. In the book she talk about violence and oppression throughout history and the world. Angela Davis became known for her involvement in a politically charged murder case in the early 1970s. Angela today is still known for what she did and is highly respected.
