Sangguniang Panlalawigan
Province of South Cotabato

Dear Maam Bigcas;

Greetings!

This letter is in connection with the indorsement dated sometime in

December to the Committee on Local Government and Inter-Governmental
Relations under my Chairmanship, of PDC Resolution 2016-17 entitled
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN TO FAST
TRACK THE SETTLEMENTS OF BOUNDARY CONFLICTS BETWEEN SOUTH
COTABATO AND ITS NEIGHBORING PROVINCES.

Considering the lapse of time from the date of its indorsement up to this
moment, the Committee is hesitant to submit a committee report in the hope
of obtaining necessary documents to support its passage since the referral is
a sensitive and crucial matter that requires a proper amount of research in
terms of records and legal bases.

Anent thereto, may I humbly request for the search and retrieval of all
documents on record pertaining to interprovincial boundary disputes. In
relation to that, I would also like to request that a letter-reply to this letter be
made attaching all printed documents, links and references that might be
useful for our research efforts and subsequent drafting of its resolution.

Thank you and more power!

Sincerely,

Sheela Mar D. Baclaan
