POWER OF ATTORNEY

BY THIS POWER OF ATTORNEY given on the day of two thousand and five
We, JOHN DOE, Lecturer and Postgraduate Student and JANE DOE, Nurse (the donors), both of 44
Trafalgar Boulevard, Catford, London SE26, England hereby appoint PATRICK BROWN (the donee),
Retired Businessman, of 12 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6 in the parish of Saint Andrew, Jamaica to be our
true and lawful Attorney for us and in our names and for our use to do and execute all or any of the
following acts and things, that is to say:

1. To lease, with furniture therein (more particularly described in Schedule 1 hereto), our concrete
dwelling house situate at 211 Barbican Road, Kingston 16, Jamaica (more particularly described
in Schedule II hereto) to such persons and at such rent and upon such terms as the donee shall
think fit for a period of two years in the first instance, with an option to renew exercisable by the
donee for a further period of one year with the consent of the donor.

2. To let such persons into possession and thereafter to give the lessee notice to remedy the breach
of any covenant under the lease, to exercise the donors right of reentry, and to accept surrender
of the lease of the said dwelling house.

3. To collect and recover the rent due under the aforementioned tenancy, to give receipts therefor,
and to deposit such rent into our account no. 15483726 at Imperial Bank situate at 54 Oxford
Road, Kingston 12, Jamaica.

4. To make whatever payments necessary using money from the account no. 15483726 for the
upkeep and maintenance of our dwelling house in respect of rates, taxes, repairs and other
expenses that are the responsibility of the landlord exclusively and to cover any other expense
incidental to a landlord.

5. To initiate and engage in negotiations for the sale of our apartment situate at 6 Donhead Avenue,
Kingston 6 (more particularly described in Schedule III hereto) and to conclude such negotiations
and sell the apartment at a price fixed as its current market value.

6. To engage the services of a Certified Land Valuator to estimate the current market value of the
abovementioned apartment and to pay for such service from the proceeds of sale of the
apartment.

7. To receive and to give receipt for the proceeds of sale of the abovementioned apartment and to
deposit the proceeds into a savings account to be opened for this purpose at the National Bank
situate at 109 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 10, Jamaica.

8. To execute in favor of a Purchaser an Instrument of Transfer of the abovementioned apartment


and to do all other acts necessary to effect a transfer of the said apartment.

9. To lawfully manage the Fish Farm (more particularly described in Schedule IV hereto) and to use
funds generated from that Fish Farm to pay for operational expenses and to do all other acts

necessary for and incidental to the overall good management of the Fish Farm; these include but
are not limited to: monitoring all expenses and keeping a record of such expense, making
contracts and executing documents of all kinds, obtaining licenses and other statutory and
governmental approval, advertising, hiring employees and appointing a professionally qualified
person to assist him in the operation of the business and the performance of these management
functions generally.

10. To initiate negotiations and conclude the sale of the Audi motor car (more particularly described
in Schedule V hereto) at a price fixed as the current market value of the car at the time of sale.
The proceeds from this sale are to be deposited into the Imperial Bank account no. 15483726, and
the interest accruing therefrom to be used by the donee to maintain the Honda Motor car (more
particularly described in Schedule V hereto).

11. To engage the services of a Valuator to estimate the current market value of the abovementioned
Audi motor car and to pay for such Valuator from the proceeds of the sale of the Audi Motor car.

12. To do all other things incidental to the exercise of the above powers or which the donee considers
necessary or expedient and in the best interest of the properties and matters put under his control
by virtue of this Power of Attorney.

13. To bring and defend all legal actions that may arise in relation to the lease of the dwelling house,
the sale of the apartment, the management of the Fish Farm, and the sale of the Audi motor car.

WE HEREBY REVOKE all Powers of Attorney previously made by us authorizing any person to
do any act in respect of the mentioned and described personalty and realty or any part of them.

AND WE HEREBY UNDERTAKE at all times to ratify and confirm all and whatsoever our
Attorney shall lawfully do or cause to be done in or concerning the matters contained in this Power of
Attorney.

SCHEDULE II

One three bedroom, two bathroom concrete dwelling house situate on ALL THAT parcel of land at 211
Barbican Road, Kingston 16, Jamaica and vested in the joint names of JOHN DOE and JANE DOE with
Certificate of Title deposited in the Office of Titles on the 12 th day of June, 1995 of the shape and
dimensions outlined by the Plan accompanying that Certificate of Title and being all of the land
comprised in the said Certificate registered at Volume 4510 Folio 567 of the Register Book of Titles.

SCHEDULE III

One two bedroom, one bathroom apartment on ALL THAT parcel of land part of Donhead Court
Development in Kingston being the Apartment numbered three on the Plan of Donhead accompanying the
Certificate of Titles deposited in the Office of Titles on the 21 st day of February, 1998 of the shape and
dimensions as appears by the said Plan accompanying the said Certificate registered at Volume 5678
Folio 876 in the Register Book of Titles.

SCHEDULE IV

One Fish Farm on ALL THAT parcel of land part of Brians Land in the Parish of Manchester being the
Lot number twenty on the Plan of part of Brians Land aforesaid deposited in the Office of Titles on the 1 st
day of November, 2001 of the shape and dimensions as appears by the said Plan and being all of the land
comprised in Certificate of Title registered at Volume 2453 Folio 113 of the Register Book of Titles.
