category.

8.1 Generate Proportional Factor

The Proportional factor is generated by using the last 3 MOC data. i.e, previous 9 TDP Data is
taken in to consideration for all Non-seasonal basepacks.

The Proportional factor for Seasonal packs is generated by using the last 12 MOCs data.

8.2 Steps to Generate Proportional Factor

to MOC9 09.

12 Correction to Proposed Baseline

Corrections can be made as per comments given by CDP planner for Base pack Channel Type and
state combinations. If feedback is given on Region level, changes to be done for all states in that
region.

For changes following are frequent comments and against each comment action to be taken is
mentioned. There is no standard procedure for changes and can be done as per requirement.

19 Roll Back Current Baseline

This section explains in brief about rolling back current baseline from back up.

This activity is done on every alternate month and we do not generate proposed baseline in such
forecasting cycle. We follow other process as it is. After APF realignment we will take backup of
Current baseline and Demand Drivers. Post which we will initialise current baseline for forecasting
period and apply back current baseline so that it gets disaggregated basis latest APF (Calculated on
latest MOC sales).

20 Forecast Generation for Specific Selection

This section explains in brief about the usage of the Auto Forecast Model. This model checks the
sales data at basepack, channel type and state and creates new combinations wherever the new
sales combinations are there in the sales data.

The Auto forecast model assigns a dummy profile to all the new combinations and later proper
forecast profiles are assigned to these dummy profiles manually or through LSMW transaction.

The steps given below explain the procedure to run the Auto Forecast Model.

Step 1: Select the ZFCSTTEST job from the Change Demand Planning in Background screen.
