If you have ActiveX add-ons installed by firmware version V3.10.22 (or later), and then you try
to connect to a camera with firmware version V3.09.14. You will not be notified to install ActiveX
add-on again, but some functions like Motion Detection will not work correctly.

Solution Overview
For those ActiveX add-on installed by firmware version later from V3.10.22, you can remove
them from Internet Explorer "Manage Add-ons" setting page. Then try to connect to the
camera with V3.09.14 again, you will be asked to install ActiveX add-on from V3.09.14.
ActiveX for V3.09.14 also has some minor issues on V3.10.22 cameras. Unfortunately, you
can't remove V3.09.14 add-on from Manage add-ons which you can find in Internet Options
of Internet Explorer. You need to do it manually. Below are steps to do that:
1. Copy a T-platform OCX file (nvEPLMedia.ocx) to C:\. You can download it from any
ACTi T-platform cameras or from ACTi tech support.

3. You will see a notification if you have done it correctly.
4. Now you can connect to the camera and then install ActiveX again. You will be
notified to install ActiveX by the following windows.

Click on the notification bar to approve installing ActiveX.
