Our Company

PotashCorp Profile

A Global Company

PotashCorp is the worlds largest fertilizer company by capacity, producing the three
primary crop nutrients: potash (K), nitrogen (N) and phosphate (P).

We are the world's largest potash producer by capacity, with five low-cost mines in
Saskatchewan and one in New Brunswick. To enhance our global footprint, we also
have investments in other key potash-related businesses in Chile, Israel, Jordan and
China.

We have three nitrogen production facilities in the US that produce a range of

products for industrial and agriculture users. Our large-scale nitrogen complex in
Trinidad consists of four ammonia plants and one urea plant.

We operate two phosphate mines in the US and manufacture phosphoric acid at

Google Map three plants and are one of the worlds largest producers of feed and industrial
phosphate products.

Nutrient Overview

All Three Nutrients Are Important, But Potash Is Our Primary Focus

PotashCorp operates in three primary nutrient segments with each playing an

important role for our company, and in crop production worldwide. We produce a
broad range of products used primarily to make fertilizers, but we also produce
animal feeds and industrial products.

As fertilizers, nitrogen, phosphate and potash play a vital role in producing healthy,
high-yield crops around the world. As feed products, they help provide the essential
dietary elements that livestock require, and as industrial products, they help produce
everything from plastics to soft drinks.

Our potash and phosphate products are mined from natural deposits left behind by
ancient seas, while our nitrogen products are synthesized from air.

World's Ten Largest Fertilizer Companies

PotashCorp is the World's Largest Fertilizer Producer

As populations grow, fertilizer plays an increasingly important role in enhancing crop

yields to help meet the rising demand for food. For PotashCorp, fertilizer is the
primary driver of growth.

PotashCorp has built the world's largest fertilizer enterprise by capacity based on
world-class potash resources and high-quality phosphate and nitrogen assets. We
are one of only three global producers that manufactures all three primary crop
nutrients.

In 2014, we estimate our potash operations represented 14 percent of global

production and 20 percent of capacity. Our nitrogen operations accounted for 2
percent of global production and capacity. In phosphate, our facilities produced 4
percent of global phosphoric acid production and accounted for 3 percent of
capacity.

*Refers to nameplate capacity, which may exceed operational capability (estimated annual
achievable production).

PotashCorp's Gross Margin Contributions

Potash Is the Largest Contributor to Gross Margin

Our strategy is to focus on areas that, in the long term, deliver the greatest gross
margin with the least volatility. Consequently, we believe the potash business has
unique structural and market advantages. High-quality, economically viable deposits
are rare. As a result, few countries currently produce potash. With little or no
indigenous production capability, the worlds largest consuming countries are
heavily reliant on imports to meet their needs and trade typically accounts for
approximately three quarters of global demand, far more than the other primary
nutrients.

In 2014, potash was again the largest contributor to our earnings, accounting for
almost 60 percent of our $2.6 billion gross margin. Potash gross margin as a
percentage of net sales was 57 percent far outpacing those of the other two
nutrients.

Fertilizer Consumption Forecast

Improvement in global soil fertility practices is expected to increase demand for

under-applied nutrients. While Nitrogen and Phosphate share similar annual growth
rate percentages, potash has the greatest potential for market growth.
