(included lube oil lubricantion, PLC, loop test, function
test, megger test, continuity test, solo run test, etc)
2 Supporting utilities are available (IA/PA and power)
3 Chemicals for Water Treatment are ready and available.
Acid Tank 374-TK-1006 (HCl) is filled at high level
Caustic Tank 374-TK-1007 (NaOH) is filled at high
level
Chlorine Tank 374-TK-1008 (NaOCl) is filled at high
level

1 Open below valves at discharge of Well Water Pump

2 Close below valves at discharge of Well Water Pump
(374-P-1001A/B):
374-GAT-2161 (374-PID-1001)
3 Ensure below valves at Raw Water Treatment Package
are closed.

5 Do Test Run Deep Well Water Pump A (374-P-1001A) in

local mode for 10 seconds
6 Do Test Run Deep Well Water Pump B (374-P-1001B) in
local mode for 10 seconds
7 Start Up Deep Well Water Pump A (374-P-1001A) in local
mode, then switch it to automatic mode.

Note: For every 1 week, switch standby Deep Well Water

Pump to operation.
8 Flush the raw water from deep well pump until the water
is physically clear through temporary line to Neutralization
Pit (374-SMP-1001) or Temporary Pit.
9 Open 374-GAT-2161 (374-PID-1001) to deliver raw water
to Fire Water Pond (If necessary)
10 Press start button for Carbon Filter. Ensure below valves
are open
374-XV-1019A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1022A/B (374-PID-1001)
11 Press start button for Sand Filter. Ensure below valves
are open.

Ensure Deep Well Water Pump A or B started up.

12 Monitor Pressure differrential 374-PDI-1032A. If the set
pressure exceed 14.5 psi, deep well pump should be
shutted down automatically and isolate Sand Filter.

On manual operation, if the timer reach 24 hours, the

deep well pump will be automatically shutted down and
374-XV-1012A / 374-XV-1014A are closed.
13 Perform Sand Filter backwash by select backwash
sequence at sand filter (PLC).
Choose backwash using backwash pump if raw water
tank is in normal level. Continue to sequence 14 and 15.
Choose backwash using deep well pump if raw water tank
is in low level. Continue to sequence 16 and 17.
14 If the Sand Filter backwash perform by Backwash Pump
(374-P-1016A/B), ensure these valves are opened:
374-BUT-8001 / 374-BUT-8023 (374-PID-1001)
374-BUT-8003 / 374-BUT-8024 (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1015A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1016A/B (374-PID-1001)

Backwash Pump (374-P-1016A/B) shall start running for

15 minutes.

15 After running for 15 minutes, Backwash Pump (374-P-

1016A/B) shall stop. Ensure these valves are closed:
374-XV-1015A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1016A/B (374-PID-1001)

Continue to sequence 18
16 If the Sand Filter backwash perform by Deep Well Water
Pump (374-P-1001A/B) ensure these valves are opened:
374-XV-1012A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1017A/B (374-PID-1001)

Deep Well Water Pump (374-P-1001A/B) shall start

running for 15 minutes.
17 After running for 15 minutes, Deep Well Water Pump
(374-P-1001A/B) shall stop. Ensure these valves are
closed:
374-XV-1012A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1017A/B (374-PID-1001)
18 Perform Sand Filter rinsing by select rinsing sequence at
sand filter button. Deep Well Pump shall start for 10
minutes.
Ensure these valves are opened:
374-XV-1012A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1017A/B (374-PID-1001)
19 After 10 minutes, Deep Well Water Pump (374-P-1001
A/B) shall stop.

Ensure these valves are closed:

374-XV-1012A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1017A/B (374-PID-1001)
20 Perform procedure 9 and 10 again
21 Monitor Pressure differential 374-PDI-1033A, if the set
pressure exceed 15 psi, deep well pump should be
shutted down automatically and isolate Carbon Filter.

On manual operation, if the timer reach 168 hours, the

deep well pump will be automatically shutted down and
374-XV-1019A / 374-XV-1022A are closed.
22 Perform Carbon Filter backwash using Deep Well Pump
(374-P-1001A/B) by select backwash sequence at carbon
filter button.

Deep Well Pump (374-P-1001A/B) shall runnning for 15

minutes.

Ensure these valves are opened:

23 After 15 minutes of running Deep Well Pump (374-P-
1001A/B) shall stop. Ensure these valve are closed:
374-XV-1018A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1020A/B (374-PID-1001)
24 Perform carbon filter rinsing by select rinsing sequence at
carbon filter button. Deep Well Pump shall start for 10
minutes.

Ensure these valves are opened:

374-XV-1012A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1014A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1019A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1021A/B (374-PID-1001)
25 After 10 minutes, Deep Well Water Pump (374-P-
1001A/B) shall stop.

Ensure these valves are closed:

374-XV-1019A/B (374-PID-1001)
374-XV-1021A/B (374-PID-1001)
26 Adjust all process sequence in AUTO on PLC and make
sure its in normal operation range
27 Fill Raw Water Tank (374-TK-1001A/B) until at least
normal level (7400 mm above bottom of the tank)
28 When it reaches high level, then high alarm (374-LIAH-
1001) shall active. Raw Water Treatment Package and
Well Water Pump should turn off.
29 When it reaches low level, then low alarm (374-LIAL-
1001) shall active. Raw Water Treatment Package and
Well Water Pump should turn on.
