History
KeyBoard Cleanse was created in the summer of 2016 by a team of young
entrepreneurs. One day when typing a report needed for class they realized their
keyboard was in need of a deep cleaning. They remembered an old chemistry
experiment where they created goo using glue, borax, water, and food coloring and
decide to use it as a device for cleaning their keyboard. Thus the KeyBoard Cleanse
was created.

Mission Statement
Keyboard Cleanse is a creative and youthful company that believes that a keyboard,
which is constantly bombarded with germs and viruses from our fingers, should be
properly cleaned and disinfected. Our goal is to be the recognized brand for office and
school supplies all while revolutionizing appliance cleaning. Our slogan is Well
handle the mess, so you can stress less.

Purpose of Handbook
The purpose of the handbook is to inform our employees of our company KeyBoard
Cleanse. With the handbook we provide a guide of our history, policies, and
regulations to our employees. We want our employees to be informed to respect each
other and respect office equipment usage. That if anybody is caught failing are
expectations they can expect consequences.

Attendance
At KeyBoard Cleanse one of our biggest expectations is punctuality. All employees
are expected to arrive to work on time with a positive attitude and motivation.
Keyboard Cleanse believes in giving a grace period to the employees of 10 minutes.
Anybody that arrives later than 10 minutes can expect a dock in his or her pay.
Employees tardiness will be kept in records.

Employees expecting to be absent must have a valid reason and inform supervisors
ahead of time. Excused absences will not be penalized with pay reductions. An
excused absence includes but is not limited to religious and cultural observations.

Conduct
Keyboard Cleanse expects employees to act within a professional behavior to keep
work production up and to keep the work environment positive.

Dress Code
Employees are expected to dress business casual. During special events employees are
expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and dress business
professional.

Performance
Employee performance is very crucial to the essence of this company. We prioritize
ourselves on company and employee performance. Employee performance will be
reviewed biweekly and supervisors will make sure that our short term and long terms
are being met within a timeline. Employees that go beyond expectations and their duty
can be awarded with employee of the month. While employees that need to improve
will be required to attend a private meeting with the supervisor.

Company Property
Office equipment is not to be used for personal usage. All property is to be used for
business use only.

Compensation
The amount an employee earns is established on position and attendance. Higher
executive positions will earn a higher pay amount.

Employee of the Month
Every end of the month, an employee that shows great work ethic, is responsible, and
has a great attendance rate will be awarded employee of the month. Every employee of
the month will be awarded with a certificate, their picture on the wall along with all
the other employees of the month, and a $25 Visa gift card. We recognize employees
that over achieve because it will promote company work ethic and production.

Diversity
Located in the City of Carson, KeyBoard Cleanse strives themselves on diversity.
Discrimination of any sort will not be tolerated in KeyBoard Cleanse.

Sexual Harassment
No sorts of any type of sexual harassment will be tolerated. It is inappropriate and also
against the law. KeyBoard Cleanse is all about promoting a professional workspace. It
is simply unacceptable to have any one of our employees feel uncomfortable in their
workspace.

Drug use\Alcohol use
Maintaining a professional workspace is what our company promotes to our
employees. No drugs or alcohol is permitted within the premises of the company.
Anyone that arrives to his or her workplace who is under the influence will be
dismissed.

Privacy
Everyone that is an employee of KeyBoard Cleanse is entitled to have privacy and
personal space. If an employee is caught invading ones personal space for any reason
there will be a punishment towards him or her. All employees are expected to respects
ones privacy and personal space.

Bullying
All forms and types of bullying are prohibited at KeyBoard Cleanse. If one is caught
bullying they may be subject to being terminated from the company.

Leave Policies
If an employee must take a leave of absence for any reason supervisors must be
notified preferably ahead of time.

Disciplinary Action
Punishments will depend on the severity of the offense committed. First offenses may
include a verbal warning. If the unacceptable behavior continues you will be given a
written warning and maybe reported to higher supervisors.

Voluntary Termination
The company understands that personal situations may occur which requires a
voluntary termination of employment. Should this transpire, we ask that each
employee submit a notice in writing, an advanced notice would be preferred but we
recognize that situations arise unexpectedly. This request does not alter an employees
at-will relationship with the company. Failure to provide a written notice will result in
the withholding of their paycheck.

Final Paycheck
Employees who terminate employment with the company will be given their final
paycheck two weeks after their last day. If the employee cannot retrieve the check
personally, itll be mailed to their residence.

Grounds for Disciplinary Action
The company reserves the right to terminate any employee who violates the
companys policies and rules of conduct. Poor performance and misconduct are
grounds for disciplinary action and termination.

The following actions are unacceptable and grounds for disciplinary action:

Engaging in discrimination or harassment during work hours and outside of
work
Distributing any type of drug(s)
Theft, damage and misuse of the companys equipment
Falsification of documents and reports
Insubordination or refusal to follow specific direction
Lying
Failure to meet deadline for job responsibility
Disregard for safety and security procedures
Disrespecting supervisors/ co-workers

Procedures
Disciplinary action is used to address unacceptable behaviors. Discipline may be oral,
written, suspension and the measure taken will be chosen by your employer.

Termination
Employees overall work performance and behavior is what keeps them employed at
KeyBoard Cleanse. Employees may be dismissed from their work duty at any time
voluntarily or involuntarily. There is some requirements employees must ahold upon
termination.
Employees are required to continue preforming their work duties until the day
of termination.
Employees are expected to submit all paperwork and reports by the day of
termination.
Employees must return all company property.
If asked of employees must participate in an exit interview.

Exit Interview
Upon termination of an employee, KeyBoard Cleanse may require them too
participate in an exit interview. The interviewer may be required to turn in all
KeyBoard Cleanse property, give feedback on their own personal opinion of working
with us, and finish all necessary reports that is required of them.

Workplace Safety
KeyBoard Cleanse takes much pride in their secure safe work environment. One of
KeyBoard Cleanse main priorities is ensuring that we provide a safe work place
environment for our employees. Some safety features we include in the work place is
fire exits, ensuring that all employees are wearing the necessary protective goggles
needed, and providing all employees with a safety class before employment.

Workplace Security
If an employee witnesses any illegal activity or suspicious behavior it is expected of
the employee to inform a supervisor in order to guarantee that KeyBoard Cleanse
continues to maintain a safe work environment. Employees personal items should be
kept secured and out of sight. KeyBoard cleanse is not responsible for the
misplacement or destruction of any personal property.

Emergency Procedures
In order to ensure employee safety there will be random hazard and catastrophe drills
conducted at random. These drills are only to prepare employees in the case that a
catastrophe is ever to occur and will not affect work performance.

I recognize that I have received a copy of KeyBoard Cleanse employee handbook and
have read through it while analyzing the overview of the companys plans and
guidelines. I accept that this handbook and anything it contains does not guarantee my
employment for any period of time and that my employment with KeyBoard Cleanse
is at will. I realize that I have the right to resign from my position at anytime as
KeyBoard Cleanse reserves the right to terminate me from my position of
employment. I fully understand that the company reserves the right to edit, remove,
and change any of the policies or procedures presented in this handbook at any given
time with or without a set time line at the companys suitability.
