wID=149262&xtid=51942. Accessed 17 Mar. 2017.

The Karen people are on of the many ethinic minority in Burma. They live in
amidst ruby mines and valuable teak forests in Burma. Karen National Liberation
Army has fought a desperate war against the military junta. It is 7000 ill-equipped
men resist against over 100,00 Burmese soilders, a one-sided fight. It is a war
forgotten by all. Civil war in Burma started after Burma gain independce from
Britian in 1948 and it is the world longest civil war. The Burmese army focuses
attacts on civilians. Soilders loot, rape, execute, torture and burn the whole
village. There are more than 300,000 Karen refugees in the mountais on Thai
border.. No humanitarian organization is allowed in the region and Thai boder
police does the best as it can to stop them from crossing the border.

The quality of the video is very poor and Burmese government would not like to
see it since it is bias against them. The narrator talk a lot about their journey to
Burma a lot and I think it is unnecessary. The video is very accurate information
about the secret Burmese genocide. They did a good job entering the country
illegally and interviewing people. They know what they are doing and they get on
topic.

Many people do not know about Genocide in Burma because the government is
very strict and do not let journalist or reporter into the country. This journalists did
a great job to film and let the world know about the secret genocide in Burma.
This film help me understand more about the genocide in Burma. Not many
people know about genocide in other country and this is one of many reason why
it still exist.
Adam, Ahmed H. "Why Is the World Blind to the Fresh Threat of Genocide in Darfur?" The
Guardian. Guardian News and Media, 16 Jan. 2015. Web. 19 Mar. 2017.

In Darfur genocide is happening and international countries is not doing enough to stop
it. Many innocent lost their life and many more are trying to ge away from the area. They
are being display with no food water and shelter. The violence is not likely to end soon.

The articles talk about Genocide in Sudan and also expain the reason. I like how and why
the government did it. It is very good article but it would have been nice if the author talk
about the reason who international community to fail to stop the genocide.

This kind of article is what people need to read more and aware of it. This article talk
about genocide in Sudan and Darfur are defenses. International communities need to
aware and do any to help them. This article will help me because International
Community failing to protect genocide is why it still happing today.

Kicker. "It's Official: ISIS Is Committing Genocide. Here's What That Means." The Huffington
Post. TheHuffingtonPost.com, 17 Mar. 2016. Web. 28 Apr. 2017.

ISIS have territory in Syria and Iraq and they have competed control over those regions.
ISIS is targeting Christians, Yazidis, and Shiite Muslims in Iraq and Syria. The biggest
thing is that it shines a brighter spotlight on ISIS horrifyingly brutal acts, making it clear
to the world that theyre not only carrying out terrorist attacks, but also systematically
targeting, torturing, kidnapping, raping, and killing specific ethnic groups.

The articles talk about Genocide in Syria and Iraq committed by ISIS. The article first
define genocide , and then try to answer 4 questions. Who is ISIS killing in a genocide,
and where? How is ISIS carrying out this genocide? Who decided that what ISIS is doing
is genocide? What does declaring genocide accomplish?
It is a surprise that ISIS rise quickly in short period of time. This article is goos way to
send message to people and letting them know what ISIS is doing. This article is about
ISIS committing genocide and I can use this in my essay by talking about terrorist group
committing genocide

Park, Robert. "The Forgotten Genocide: North Korea's Prison State." World Affairs Journal.
World Affairs, Aug. 2013. Web. 28 Apr. 2017.

North Korea is most secret country in the world. The government have complete control
over the country. It try to get rid of people who are against the system and put many in
prison. Pyongyang has dramatically increased spending on its nuclear and missile program
resources that would have constituted more than enough to take care of food shortages
within the country for more than a decade. According to Japan newspaper from December
2011 until April 2012, twenty thousand people have starved to death in South Hwanghae
Province. The government hurt it people in many difference way.

The article talk about How North Korea is forgotten by the world. It also talked about the
relationship with other country and its nuclear program. It also talks about North Korea
genocide and crime against humanity. The article did pretty good covering about the nuclear
and how nuclear program lead to starved it people.

North Korea committed genocide differently than other country. The people just powerless in
this country and very little information is known about it. The world just forgotten them it
seem like a normal thing to the world . This will help me in my essay because it about
genocide and it difference form.
