GUIDELINES FOR

INTERNSHIP REPORT

M-Com, MBA, BBA (Hons.) & BS A&F (Hons)


A comprehensive formal report that should cover:
Introduction and History of the organization, its structure, working etc.
Exactly what kind of work you did.
What you learned (both positives and negatives).
What skills you used and any new skills you gained.
What the biggest challenges were: Anything you wish youd known before you went
on your internship and what you might do differently the next time.
What you think your fellow students - as well as professionals in the field should
know about the work you did: how effective it is, how it might be improved.
How your internship will influence your future career plans.
Report should consist minimum of 75 to 120 pages approximately.

Report Format

The report should have the following format:


One (1) inch margin on all sides of the paper
1.5 inch line spacing
Type font size = 12 point, Times New Roman Style
Topic Headings 14 point, Times New Roman Style (Bold)
Page numbers at center bottom of the page.

Color of The Book:

(i) Dark Green color for M-Com, (ii) Black for MBA
(iii) Navy Blue color for BBA (iv) Maroon for BS A&F,

Hard binding with Silver Mono Gram text on outer title.

APA format should be strictly followed

Report must include:


1. Title page ( in color)
2. Supervisor Letter
3. Letter of Transmittal
4. Acknowledgment

7. Text of report (all sections/chapters should be logically linked)

A "PPt" Presentation, based on your report,( Minimum of 20 Slides) is required for

Note:

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Computer Marketing Company is a rapidly growing Group of


Companies. It started its business in 1994. The main focus of
activities is providing complete IT solutions to Pakistans
corporate sector. The group is one of the biggest and oldest
computer parts importers and software seller in the country.

Computer Marketing Company is now all set to win over the


confidence of its valued customers in the realm of the
Information Technology industry. Once again our prime objective
is to provide best IT solutions to our valued customers and
provide them latest technology at their door step

With the high level of commitment, hardworking and better


business strategies Computer Marketing Company is the largest
importer of computer parts in Pakistan. Computer Marketing
Company is not only distributing hardware components but also
providing the facility of warranty claim to its customers for this
purpose Computer Marketing Company is running a high tech
assembling and repairing lab.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report is about my internship program with on Rising Sun Education & Welfare Society,
An NGO working for the education and rehabilitation of special children. This is a
comprehensive report which covers introduction, historical background, organizational hierarchy,
its working, projects working under this NGO and everything which I observed and perceived
during my internship program.

In this report you will find the detail about current position of organization. Along with it, the
processes, policies and procedures are also discussed in detail. As the main purpose of internship
is to learn by working in practical environment and to apply the knowledge acquired during the
studies in a real world scenario in order to tackle the problems using the knowledge and skill
learned during the academic process.

In this report the detailed analysis of the organization has been done and the financial, technical,
managerial and strategic aspects have been evaluated to analyze the current position of the
organization. This report also contains my perceptions, motivation level and the working
environment of the organization.

Executive Summary

T.M.C (Textile Marketing Company ) has grown from a cotton export house into the premier
business group. Today, T.M.C is considered to be at par with multinationals operating locally in
terms of its quality products and management skills .I recently have done my internship in
Textile Marketing Company, in which I got training from its H.R
Department. The internship basically revolved around the employee relation with the
organization. The system, the style of working & the commitment of the employees in T.M.C is
really an example. The difference between the success & failure is doing things right and doing
things nearly right, & T.M.C has always tried for success & that is why it is known to be one of
the leading organizations in Pakistan. Irrespective of all these positive points of T.M.C, I have
noticed a few areas where the improvement can really increase the efficiency of TMC. I also
mentioned about the Textile industry in Pakistan and vision of its industry. Then I have done a
detailed SWOT Analysis. Then I have discussed about my learning in the whole internship that is
all about the Textile Terminologies and process of the human behavior. I have made it possible to
write each and every thing that I have learnt there. I have all my practical efforts in the form
of this manuscript thats the asset for my future career. I have also given the scenario of the
whole divisions and also gave the detailed processes that are been running in my internship
division (Hosiery including all the departments that are working under Hosiery). I have also
mentioned the exporting countrys names to which TMC is exporting their products. I have also
given the analysis of the organization according to the ratio, horizontal and vertical analysis and
findings on the basis of this analysis. Finally I have also made my findings and suggestions and
if I were the manager of the organization then what would be my decision.
