Management)

I would like to apply for Unilever Future Leaders Program (Financial Management) as
advertised at the Unilever website. I have uploaded my CV as required by the online
application process. I have graduated with an MSc degree in International Finance and
Banking from University of Bedfordshire in November, 2010. Throughout my edification
process, I participated in numerous group projects and presentations that helped to
develop and hone my teamwork and communication skills. The group projects and
presentations always had tight schedules and strict deadlines that enhanced my ability
to work under pressure and to meet deadlines a requisite for any employee at Unilever.

Unilever is the leading consumer goods organization in the world that is likely to provide
opportunities in corporate finance. My entire edification process has been based around
managing funds and I have had experience of managing my own portfolio of assets as
part of my group work in Financial Modelling Course in my postgraduate degree. As part
of the group, I was in charge of managing our own portfolio. For the project, I as a
member of the group had to carry out in depth country, industry and sector analysis to
invest in stocks and evaluate the performance of our portfolio. The project was a huge
success as we achieved Distinction mark in the project and it taught the application of
the theories.

Innumerable opportunities to prepare varieties of report in the advertised role at Unilever

also appeals to me as carrying out research is my forte. My research ability is further
delineated by the fact that an International Hotel Chain is constructing a 5 Star hotel in
Chittagong, port city of Bangladesh, based on my market study. I was the team leader of
the market study team in the project managed by Management Consulting Group in
Dhaka, Bangladesh on behalf of the International Hotel Chain. My knowledge on market
research will be an advantage as a Full-time Finance employee at Unilever.

I believe my proven leadership skill will aid me in working for Unilever one of the largest
international companies in the world. I led the market study team and I was also in
charge of organizing events of IBA communication club as a Vice President. I also led the
very first team from IBA to International Coastal Cleanup Programme. I also worked as an
intern in the consumer banking department of Gulshan Corporate Branch, Dhaka Bank
that provided me with first hand experience in dealing with clients and negotiating with
clients to curve out the most suited financial service to match their financial needs. I am
currently working as Head of Admin and Academics that has taught me how to
communicate with different stakeholders of the business internal or external, efficiently
and effectively. These experiences have taught me how to achieve business objectives by
working through different project that will be of essence to work in Unilever.

Given my skills and abilities, I am confident that if given the opportunity I can bring in
good results because I am passionate about my work and I am willing to work for long
hours to achieve perfection in whatever I take part in. In addition to all this, I would like
to mention that I am currently studying for CFA Level 1 for which the exam is due in
December, 2013 and I have also been awarded exemption of 7 papers of CIMA
Professional Qualification. My drive for professional qualification will give me an edge to
perform my job responsibilities with higher quality and accuracy. My motto of providing
high quality performance aligns with the Unilevers aim of managing their finances in the
most profitable way possible. Therefore, I am looking forward to hearing from you.
