Overview of products to install

Installation and configuration process IBM Integration Bus. The following components will
be installed sequentially:

IBM Integration Bus

WebSphere MQ

IBM Integration Toolkit

IBM Integration Explorer

IBM Integration Bus Developer Edition

The following document describes the steps install IBM Integration Bus Developer Edition.

Enter the page to download the package's installation at the following URL:

http://www-03.ibm.com/software/products/us/en/integration-bus

Click on "Download Developer Edition":

Enter username and password for your IBM id. (If you don't have an id you can create one).
Click on "Sign In"

Select the package that you want to download. For this document is selected "IBM Integration
Bus for Developers (Single packaged download)". Click "Continue":

Select "I agree" to accept the terms of the developer license. Click on the "I confirm":

Select your preferred Windows/Linux platform. For this document was used "...for Windows
64 Bit" and the documentation. Click on "Download now"...

This download is made typically using an applet called "Download Manager" this manager for
downloads should start automatic starting the download.

Once downloaded the packages have the following ZIP file which you can unpack with WinRAR
or WinZip...

After unpack it, we will have the following available for installation files. The installation
package condenses several products that we use in our environment of IIB. Among them:

WebSphere MQ
IBM Integration Bus
IBM Integration Toolkit
IBM Integration Explorer

The installation can be done in two ways by installing each component separately (advanced
procedure) or by using the "Launchpad" for installation. For the following document referred
to the use of the "Launchpad".

Click on "mqsilaunchpad.exe":

Opens the next window where you can see the components involved and the status of the
installation:

As we see the components they have status "Pending". This status will change as we complete
the installation. Click on "Launch Installation for IBM Integration Bus"

The launchpad will lift each of the "Wizard" for each component in the suggested order,
starting with WebSphere MQ:

We begin by accepting the terms of the license. Click "Next"...

Select "Typical". Click on "Next":

Check the summary of installation (routes, names, etc.). Click "Install"

We expect that the installation is complete. This can take a few minutes...

After the installation is completed. Check that it has been successful. Click on "Finish".

Start a Wizard of verification of the MQ services network...

If you have knowledge of be using any domain controller in the machine where installing MQ.
Select "Yes", otherwise select "No". Click "Next"...

Again if you have any domain controller select the corresponding option. Click "Next"...

Deselect the two check boxes. Click "Finish".

Optional: Leave the check of "Launch WebSphere MQ Explorer" enabled to start MQ Explorer
and verify the installation.

The Launchpad will continue with the following product in the list: IBM Integration Bus...

Select the preferred language. Click "OK"

Click "Next"...

Click "Next"...

Select "I accept both the IBM and the non-IBM terms". Click "Next"...

Let the installation path by default. Click "Next"...

Check the summary of installation. Click on "Install".

Wait until that installation is complete. This can take a few minutes...

At the end of the installation. Click on "Done"...

The installer will automatically continue with the following component:

IBM Integration Toolkit:

The following component is installed using "Installation Manager". If you don't have it
installed you will open a Wizard to install Installation Manager and then install the Integration
Toolkit...

In Installation Manager, select "IBM Integration Toolkit" > "Version 9.0". Click "Next":

Accept the license. Click "Next":

Do not modify the installation path by default. Click "Next":

Select the installation language. Click "Next":

Select packages to install. Click "Next":

Check the summary of installation. Click "Install". Wait for the installation to complete. This
may take a few minutes...

When complete the installation. Click on "Finish":

The launchpad began the installation of the final component:

IBM Integration Explorer:

Select the installation language. Click "OK":

Click "Next":

Accept the license. Click "Next":

Check the summary of installation. Click "Install":

It expects to complete the installation. This can take a few minutes...

At the end of the installation of that last component we will have in the Launchpad "Installed"
status for all components:

Click on "Exit Launchpad" to finish the installation.

Initial configuration

Look for IBM Integration Explorer on your Windows task bar:

Head to "Integration Nodes". Right click. New > "Local Integration Node"

Use the Wizard to define the integration node name. Click "Next"...

We define the Queue Manager name:

Wait for competition. Click on "Finish"...

Verify the creation of the node and the Queue Manager:

Now start the Integration Toolkit:

Select some Workspace or create a new one
