House Build Manual (for the house structure)

Materials
Base- 11x17
Walls (2)- 11x8
Middle room divider- 12x11
Roof 1 (short side)- 9x11
Roof 2 (tall side)- 11x11
4 hinges

Step 1- Cut the desired lengths of wood with a miter saw.

Step 2- Screw 1 11x8 inch wall into each side of the base.
Step 3- Using a jigsaw, cut a 4x3 inch doorway in the middle of the 12x11 middle room
divider.
Step 4- Turn the base structure sideways so that you can screw in the middle room
divider into the middle of the base from the bottom of the base.
Step 5- Screw 2 hinges on the 11 inch side of the 11x9 piece of wood. Do the same for
the 11x11 piece of wood.
Step 6- Position both of your roofs to create a mono pitched structure. Screw the
attached hinges into the outer walls. This way, you will be able to open and look inside
the house from the top.

House Build Manual (for the electrical aspects)

Materials
3 light switches
A switch box
Positive wires
Negative wires
1 tailgate light (12V)
5 9V light bulbs
2 resistors
Step 1- Create your parallel circuit. This should have a positive (red) wire running up
one side with a resistor connected on the bottom end (the end that will face the switch
box), and one negative (black) wire that will run up the other side. Strip the end (the end
facing away from the switch box) of both wires. Then, using a pocket knife, but 2
additional slits in the wire so that the wire is exposed. There should be 3 places on each
wire where the wire is exposed. Solder one light bulb to bridge the gap between an
exposed wire on a positive wire and an exposed wire on a negative wire. Repeat this 2
more times to fill all the gaps between the wires. Your parallel circuit is complete!
Step 2- Create your first series circuit. Take one black wire and strip both ends of it.
Then, attach one end to a light bulb using solder. Strip both sides of a positive (red) wire
and attach one side to the other end of the lightbulb using solder. Attach a new light bulb
to the opposite end of the positive (red) wire. Get a new positive (red) wire and strip it
on both ends. Attach one end to the other end of the light bulb, and then attach a
resistor to the other end of the positive wire, with the dark purple side facing away from
the switch box. Finally, strip one more positive (red) wire on both ends and attach one
end to the resistor.
Step 3- Finally make your last series circuit. Take the tailgate light and attach both of the
black wires that come with it to the back of the light. That is all you have to do!
Step 4- Attach it all together. Start with the parallel circuit. Get a light switch and attach
the end red wire to one side of the switch and the end black wire to the other end. To
attach the first series circuit, attach the end red wire to a new light switch and attach the
end of the black wire to the black wire used in the parallel circuit. To attach the 2 nd series
circuit, strip one red wire on both sides. Attach one side to a new light switch, and then
attach the other side to the end of either of the black wires attached to the tailgate light.
Attach the remaining black wire to the black wire that the parallel and the 1 st series
circuit are attached to,
Step 5- Nail all of the light switches into the switch box.
