English departments across the nation have been experiencing a downward

The English Major
1
Since 1991, the English major in America has seen a steady decline , both
in enrollment and in graduation rates. There are a myriad of reasons why:
more options than ever before, the misconception of low job prospects,
and the pressures from parents and student loans to deliver on successful
careers, to name a few. We at the University of Oklahoma can change all
that.
