Most educators rely on examinations to encourage children to study, but as a

result, children suffer from too much stress. Therefore, exams should be abolished.
Do you agree?

Title: Examination as an Integral Part of Studying
1. INTRODUCTION, thesis statement: I strongly believe that examination is a
significant part of educational process, which cannot be abolished.
2. BODY:
Topic sentence: The first and the most important reason of keeping examination
as a form of knowledge control is its educational aspect.

Topic sentence: The next important advantage of examination is its ability to
develop peoples psychological features.

3. CONCLUSION, restate thesis: I am sure that examinations should not be
abolished, as they are the most reliable form of knowledge control, which can
prepare people to future life and develop indispensable skills.
 Examination as an Integral Part of Studying
When I was 16, I passed my first examination. It was a great stress for me; I
spent a few nights sleepless. Now I am 22, and I still dont like this form of
knowledge control. However, I strongly believe that examination is a significant
part of educational process, which cannot be abolished.
The first and the most important reason of keeping examination as a form of
knowledge control is its educational aspect. Knowing that at the end of semester
examination will be held, students have more motivation to study the subject. Such
test will also help to focus on the main issues among a great flow of information. If
students do not study the subject during the semester, they will have an opportunity
to study the most important information for an examination.
The next important advantage of examination is its ability to develop
peoples psychological features. During the term period students develop their
stress immunity, learn how to fight their fears. Trying to remember a great amount
of information, students train memorization skills. Examination provides with such
tense condition when students have to think critically and find creative, unusual
solutions.
The last advantage of examination, which works particularly in Ukraine, is
its ability to develop cunning and wit. Trying to cheat on tests, students invent new
creative ways out. Avoiding swotting up, they do impossible things to extricate
themselves from a difficult situation. To tell the truth, it spreads not only on
studying but to all spheres of life. Such people usually have excellent diplomatic
skills and are able to solve the most difficult problems.
To sum up, I am sure that examinations should not be abolished, as they are
the most reliable form of knowledge control, which can prepare people to future
life and develop indispensable skills.
