Usingthisfunction,youcancreateanewphysicalsampledrawing(withoneormorephysicalsamples)
thatreferences:
Aninspectionlot
Aproductionorderorprocessorder
Aproductionversion
Youusethisfunctiontocreatephysicalsamplesthathavenotbeenplannedinasampledrawingprocedure
andwhichyoucandrawfromaproductionprocessaccordingtoyourspecificneeds.Inaninspection
duringproduction,forexample,youcandrawphysicalsamplesfromtheprocessonthebasisoftimeor
quantity(forexample,aphysicalsampleeverythreehoursorforevery1000litersofmaterialproduced).
Youcanfreelyspecifytheinspectionrelevantoperationsinwhichyouwanttoinspectthephysicalsamples
forthenewphysicalsampledrawing.

Prerequisites
Tobeabletocreateanewphysicalsampledrawingthatreferencesoneoftheaboveobjects,thefollowing
conditionsmustbemet:
Thetasklistheadermustspecifyinspectionpointsforphysicalsamples.
Ifyouintendtocreateaphysicalsampledrawingwithreferencetoaproductionorder,processorder,
orproductionversion,aninspectionlotmustalreadyexistfortheorderorproductionversion.

Ifyouwanttosimulatethecreationofanewphysicalsampledrawing(forexample,fortestpurposes),you
cansetacorrespondingindicatorinthereport.Thesystemdisplaysalistofthephysicalsamplesthat
wouldhavebeencreated,hadyounotsettheindicator.

Caution
Ifyouexecutethisreportwithoutsettingthesimulationindicator,thesystemautomaticallycreatesthe
physicalsampledrawingandphysicalsamplesinthebackground.Youcannotcanceltheoperation.

Creatinganewphysicalsampledrawingforaninspectionlot
If,forexample,youwanttocreateandinspectoneormorephysicalsamplesinanewproductionstepfor
aninspectionlot,youcancreateanewphysicalsampledrawingwithphysicalsamplesandsimultaneously
createthecorrespondinginspectionpoints:
Foraspecificoperationintheinspectionlot
Foralloperationsintheinspectionlot
Ontheselectionscreenforcreatinganewphysicalsampledrawing,youcansetanindicatorthatallows
thesystemtoautomaticallycreatetheinspectionpointsforthephysicalsamples.Ifyouwantcreatethe
inspectionpointsforaspecificoperation,youcanalsospecifytheoperation.Ifyoudonotspecifyan
operation,thesystemcreatestheinspectionpointsforalloperations.
Ifyoucallthetransactiontocreateanewphysicalsampledrawingfromtheworklistorfromaprocess
instruction(PI)sheet,thesystemautomaticallysetstheindicatortocreatetheinspectionspecifications
anditcreatestheinspectionpointsasfollows,basedonthepositionofthecursor:
Ifthecursorispositionedonanoperation,thesystemcreatestheinspectionpointsforthisoperation
andproposesthephysicalsampledetaildataonthebasisofthephysicalsamplescontainedinthe
lastphysicalsampledrawingfortheoperation.
Ifthecursorispositionedattheinspectionlotlevel(butnotontheinspectionlotnumber),the
systemcreatestheinspectionpointsforalloperations.Theproposalforthephysicalsampledetail
dataistakenfromthelastphysicalsampledrawingfortheinspectionlot,independentlyofthe
operations.

Youexecutethereporttocreatethephysicalsampledrawing.
Afterthesystemhascreatedthephysicalsampledrawingandthelistofphysicalsamples,youcanbranch
directlytothetransactionforprocessingthephysicalsampledrawing(forexample,toreleasethephysical
samples).
