from Tamil
Nadu.
Popularly
known as
"Mahakavi
Bharati", he
was a
pioneer of
modern Tamil
poetry and is
considered
one of the
greatest
Tamil literary
figures of all
time. His
numerous
works were
fiery songs
kindling
patriotism
and
nationalism
during
the Indian
