B. Brief narrative or description of the speaking lesson

The class on Colombia is a paradise lasted 4 hours for the activities so striking and the
subject so interesting, began the class with a tongue twister, because the tongue twisters
help the verbal fluency. In previous knowledge, a phonetic exercise was carried out where
the students had to find the word with their phonetic transcription, then they answered
questions such as: What makes Colombia unique?
In the presentation of the subject the students read a text about Colombians live in paradise,
and they gave their opinions on the ideas given by the author in the text. The practical
activities were continued, at this point the students had to enter an exercise in educaplay, in
this exercise the students read the questions and had to choose the correct answer. Then, the
class was continued with a dialogue where the students had to find the correct answer to

each question, organize
the dialogue correctly
and then read it in pairs.
During production students described images related to typical foods in some regions of the
country. Afterwards, they performed an activity in educaplay where they had to join the
typical dish with the correct description.
Finally, in the evaluation the students completed the lyrics of the song "Another day in
paradise" and finally they sang the song.

C. How successful were activities and materials?

The activities and materials were very successful the students were motivated during the
classes on this topic. They said that they had liked the variety of strategies used to talk
about a topic that is common to all of us the characteristics of Colombians and their food.
In this class, as a teacher I felt very happy, I would give this class again and again.
D. What departures did you make from the original lesson plan?

The only modification I made to the original plan was the activity to start the second class
with the same typical, in this exercise the students had to talk about an image for two
minutes, it was a warm-up activity to continue with the previous class.

E. What difficulties did learners experience in different stages of the lesson?

I think the only difficulty that students experimented during this class was the lack of
vocabulary to express their ideas about some foods like sausage or blood sausage.

F. What aspects of the lesson did you feel were particularly successful?

I think the aspects of the lesson that were most successful were the descriptions of the food,
the students had fun exposing the food and when they had to sing the song, as they
expressed that it was a way to enjoy the encounters with different activities .

G. What aspects
of the lesson
did not work
particularly well? Why?

I really think this class was the best of all, we enjoy it from start to finish. For this, I think
all activities were well planned and worked excellentment.

H. What aspects of the lesson should be done differently next time?

Perhaps the aspect that should be improved for a next lesson is to divide this class into two.

B. Brief narrative
or description
of the speaking
lesson

During the warm-up time a series of questions were asked to describe the favorite family
member, and the tongue twister of the day.

After the previous knowledge, the teacher dictated to the students a series of words in
disorder so that they would order the words correctly and form a sentence.

In the presentation, the online game was realized to practice adjectives with prefixes and
suffixes. In the previous class the teacher explained to them the correct order of the
adjectives in a sentence.

For the practical moment the bingo of the adjectives was realized.

Then, at the time of production, students had to listen to the song "Hand in my pocket" and
fill in the blanks with the correct adjective, lastly, they should read the song.

For the assessment of the class, students should write the correct order of adjectives to form
sentences in an online exercise.

C. How successful were activities and materials?

The activities and materials liked a lot, for its variety. Because games, online activities were
used. Different activities for the development of the same topic.

D. What departures did you make from the original lesson plan?

Yes, I had to make some changes to the original plan of the class, because the students were
difficult to remember the correct order of the adjectives hindering the development of the
activities. So, I had to re-explain the subject in order to reach the indicators proposed in this
topic.

It is important that as teachers we are flexible during the teaching of an issue because it is
necessary to return to the concepts that have been taught in the past with the objective of
strengthening and retaking the concepts that are forgotten, because when knowledge is not
practiced it's hard to remember again.

E. What difficulties
did learners
experience
in different stages of the lesson?

The students presented greater difficulty during previous knowledge, practice and
assessment, because this was a difficult subject for them. We think that adjectives are easy
to learn, but because we only learn the simplest adjectives and a basic structure, but when
we expand our vocabulary it is difficult to think of new words, it is also difficult to think of
the correct order of adjectives in a sentence when you have several adjectives.

F. What aspects of the lesson did you feel were particularly successful?

I think that the activities related to games, song and tongue twister were successful, because
no one can deny that learning through play helps better the feedback and learning of the
themes in children, young people as in adults, because This way knowledge is fun. In
addition, the song had a vocabulary of easy comprehension.

G. What aspects of the lesson did not work particularly well?

Why?

I think that all aspects worked well, some aspects such as previous knowledge and
production were difficult because of the difficulty of the subject for the students.
H. What aspects of the lesson should be done differently next time?

I think, maybe the aspect that should be improved for a next lesson is to feed back
with the explanation of the subject again, when the topic is difficult for the students.
