B. Introduction Lines - Students form two lines facing each other. Each student
introduce him/herself to the student in the other line. After each the introductions,
each student moves to the right and introduces him/herself to a new partner.

C. Student Interviews/Introductions
Task Teacher writes small talk topics on the board: (a) Married? (b)
Children?; (c) Job?; and (d) Hobbies?
The aid asks teacher the following questions:
o Are you married?
o Do you have children?
o Do you work?
o Do you have any hobbies?

Task: Split students into groups of 3. Give each group a Consumer Report
product (e.g.,Blenders, Vacuums, or Coffee maker). Each group discusses:
o How important is price?
o How important are the other features?
o Which item would you buy?
Group reports back to class which product they would buy and why.
