1) This These/The (given/supplied) two bar graphs represent computer ownership as (well as)

a the percentage of the population between 2002 and 2010 and by level of education for the
years 2002 and 2010.
Recommendations for paraphrasing the introduction:
The given bar graphs show data on the percentage of computer ownership from the year 2002
to 2010 both by comparison of total population and education level
-The supplied bar graphs illustrate the percentage of people owning a computer between 2002
and 2010 as well as the data relationship between having a computer and education level.
-The two bar graphs depict the percentage of computer belongings in a community. The first
graph demonstrates the general computer ownership during an eight-year period since 2002 to
2010. Meanwhile the second graph details the figure more specifically regarding to education
level over the same period of time.
-These two bar graphs show data about computer ownership, with a further classification by
level of education, from 2002 to 2010.

2) The ownership of computer* showed a steady but significant rise over the period in both
graphs; as in percentage of owners and by education level.
*The percentage of people owning a computer
Recommendation:
-A steady but significant rise can be observed in the percentage of the population that owned
a computer over the period.

3) Computer ownership was around 60% in 2002 and almost 80%, 8 years later.
Recommendation:
-Just over half the population owned computer in 2002, whereas by 2010 80% of people had
a home computer.

4) The lowest percentage of ownership by education was in 2002 and by people with no high
school education (10 15 %).
Recommendation:
An analysis of the data by level of education shows that higher levels of education correspond
to higher levels of computer ownership in both of those years. In 2002, only around 15% of
those who did not finish high school had a computer, but this figure had tripled/trebled by
2010.
5) Higher percentage was by people who have graduated from high school, then college
(incomplete), following bachelor's degree and the biggest percent was in 2010 by people with
a postgraduate qualification. In comparison between 2002 and 2010, percentages usually rose
for 10 or 25%.
Recommendation:
There were also considerable increases of almost 30%/ percentage points for those with a high
school diploma or an unfinished college education (reaching 65% and 85% respectively in
2010). However, graduate and postgraduates proved to have the greatest level of ownership
in 2010, at 90% and 95% respectively, 20% higher than in 2002.
