OVERALL COMMENTS AND REFLECTIONS:

This was a Turkish language class for 7th graders. There were a teacher, twenty-two students and me in the
classroom. Only the teacher was conducting the class. I saw that education is all motivation. To teach
another language beside English is very difficult in America. After that if they are not using it and do not
need it in their daily life, to concentrate the students is getting harder.

But in this class mostly the students were engaged by the topic and the class activities. Because the topic
and the class activities were made rich and fun by Mr. Puskulluoglu. The Turkish candy was the most
motivational part for the students.

After all, the lesson was effective and productive. Making dialogues and performing them was the good
part: Hear, See and Do. These all three steps were done to make the learn a language. Most of the
students participated. I liked the class and learn how to manage a class. I appreciate Mr. Puskulluoglu
about his help and acceptance me to the class.
