Summary
This document shows some of the basic setup of the SLA-1500-OEM for use with the SONY FCB
EHxxxx.

Export Controls
Exports of SightLine Applications, Inc. products and technical data are governed by the US Export
Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR parts 730-774) administered by the US Department of
Commerce. Classification of SightLine products has been defined as ECCN 4A994 for documentation
and hardware/firmware, and ECCN 4D994 for licensed software. Customers acknowledge re-export
responsibility and certify that their sale or distribution of SightLine products (whether incorporated into
another system or otherwise) may constitute a new export and as such must be in accordance with the
requirements of the EAR.

Additional files such as 3D models, schematics, Gerbers, etc. may be available through our FTP site for

Prerequisites:
Sony camera configuration software.

SLA-PANEL

Select Digital Mode

Use SLA-PANEL to select Digital Video Mode when using the SLA-1500-SONY connected to a Sony
FCB EHxxxx camera.

Assume the TARGET (SLA-1500-OEM ) is on the network and powered up.

1. Select the Target Hardware (e.g. SLA1500_51AC) from the Systems list
2. Click Connect
3. Verify Firmware and IP address in the status bar
4. Select the Video tab
5. From the Params Group, Select Digital [Video Source]
6. Select HD 1080P (or HD720)
7. Click Apply
8. Menu Device Parameters Save
9. Select the Stabilization/Tracking tab
10. Click the Connect button
11. Power Cycle the SLA-1500-OEM
12. After the system has rebooted, Click Refesh to update the Systems list
13. Select the Target Hardware from the Systems list
14. Click Connect
15. Select the Video tab
16. In the Video Mode group, Under Camera Order, Select Digital 2 as camera [source] 0
17. Menu Device Parameters Save

1. Select the TARGET 2. Click Connect

3. Verify Status & Version

4. Select the Video Tab

5. Select Digital Camera

Click APPLY

6. Save the parameters

then power cycle

7. Click the Stabilization/Tracking tab and Update All button to get the new digital parameters
8. Then select the Video tab

7. Select Camera Order to

be digital

9. Menu Device Save

10. Power cycle one more time for the SLA-1500-OEM to come up in its correct mode
