It seems that not all PMC's comments on Design Basis report and 30%
design review have not been incorporated. Please ensure that the
comments are taken care of.
- SPCPL / TCE has requested PMC to waive off the FM/UL approval. PMC has
requsted to raised the necessary TQ.
- The potable / mobile DCP fire extinguisher will be SPCPL scope in DG area.
- Low liquid level for fire water pump to be selected.
- The vendor specific parameters to be deleted from the design basis.

No fire protection system is envisaged as the pipeline shall be designed

without any valves or flanges along its route. However TOP shall be
provided for fire water at Diesel Unloading Facility area for further
extension of fire fighting system for diesel unloading facility area.

Plant earthing system is TNS. We believe accordingly PE conductor is

considered

Galvanized steel strip will be used for earthing conductor connections to

main grid.

Please review as per specification requirement

Smoke detectors and fire alarm panel for control rooms , offices and
substations to be included under this header.Also SPCPL shall connect their
fire alarm panels to the main fire alarm panel (supplied by others) located
near CCR .

M FOR PORT & WHARF AREA

Following Points Incorporated

- FM/UL approved pump has been considered for both Port
and Wharf area . It has been also mentioned in approved
doc.- Design basis of Fire Fighting system.
- In the approved design basis it has been mentioned that
the Potable / mobile DCP fire extinguisher will be provided
by company. However , in this specification the same is
included in SPCPL scope.
- Low- low, low and high alarm has been provided for port
area . The same also included in this specification.
- No vendor specific parameter has been provided in
Technical Specification as well as in Design Basis.

SPCPL will provide only one tapping point for international

shore connection.
