POWER MIRROR REPLACEMENT

NOTE: Take care not to scratch the door.

1. Remove the front door sash inner trim (see FRONT DOOR SASH INNER TRIM REPLACEMENT ).
2. Disconnect the power mirror connector (A).

3. While holding the power mirror (B), remove the nuts securing the mirror.
4. Release the catch (A) from the hole in the door, then remove the power mirror (B).

5. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

Make sure the power mirror operate properly.

MIRROR HOLDER REPLACEMENT

NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to
prevent damage.

1. Carefully push on the top edge of the mirror holder (A) by hand.

2. Put a shop towel in the opening between the bottom edge of the mirror holder and the mirror housing (B)
to prevent scratches. Insert a flat-tip screwdriver under the mirror holder, and detach the bottom clips (C).
3. Carefully pull out the bottom edge of the mirror holder (A) to separate the adhesive (B), and then release
the side clips (C).

NOTE: In cold weather, gently warm the mirror holder to at least 68F (20C)
before removing it.

4. Separate the mirror holder from the inner holder (D) on the actuator by releasing the hooks (E), and
disconnect the mirror defogger connectors (F).
5. Before reinstalling the mirror holder to the inner holder (A) on the actuator, check the actuator rods (B)
and the actuator boots (C).

NOTE: Make sure each actuator rod is inserted into the actuator securely, and
each actuator boot is fully seated on the actuator.

6. Reconnect the mirror defogger connectors.

7. Reattach the hooks on the mirror holder to the actuator, then position the mirror holder on the actuator.
Carefully push on the clip areas of the mirror holder until the mirror holder locks into place.
8. Check the actuator operation.

REARVIEW MIRROR REPLACEMENT

1. Slide the rearview mirror harness upper cover (A) forward to release it from the headliner (B). Pry out the
rearview mirror harness lower cover (C) to release the hooks (D), then slide the lower cover rearward,
and remove the lower cover by releasing the hooks (E) on the rearview mirror harness cover base (F).

2. Disconnect the rearview mirror connector (A).

3. Loosen the TORX screw with a TORX T20 bit, then slide the rearview mirror (A) rearward and off the
mount (B).

4. Install the mirror in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
Before installing the mirror, remove the TORX screw, and apply medium strength liquid thread
lock to it.
Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
Push the hooks into place securely.
