Conley Corporation
Standard Piping FURAN
Specifically designed for organic service, such as aggressive chlorinated solvents. Performs well
Systems/ASTM D-2996: in acidic and alkali media as well. Uses: VOC ducting, CPl, groundwater remediation with severe
VOC contamination, and widely used in the pharmaceutical industry (chemical sewer and
process).

SCHEDULE 30 EPOXY
Aromatic amine cured system, Ciba 6010, Shell 828, D.E.R. 331, with a temperature capability
60 mil corrosion over 300F+, Tensile Elongation = 5-6%. Typical uses: CPI, Potable water, steel mill pickling
barrier with medium acids (200F HCI), hot brines, fuel oil, mining applications, power generation, cooling towers,
wastewater (industrial & municipal), marine applications, food and beverage mfg., groundwater
duty structural wall. remediation. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2280.

VINYL ESTERS
STANDARD (DERAKANE* 411 OR 441-400). (Bis-A) system with a temperature capability
SCHEDULE 40 of 210-220F, Tensile Elongation = 5-6%. Typical uses: Excellent acid, alkali, bleaches, brine
60 mil corrosion resistance. Commonly used in chemical processing, pulp and paper industry. A preferred standard
in the phos-acid fertilizer industry. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2420.
barrier with heavy
duty structural wall. DERAKANE 8084. An elastomer modified Bis-A vinyl ester resin with a temperature capability of
170-180F, Tensile Elongation = 10-12%. Use: Superior resistance to abrasion and severe
mechanical stress. Double or triple the toughness performance of standard vinyl ester resins.

DERAKANE 441-400. Temperature capability of 245F, Tensile Elongation = 7-8%. Comparable

SCHEDULE 50 chemical resistance to Derakane 411 and 25-30F greater temperature capability than 411, 33%
greater tensile elongation. Typical uses: Excellent acid and alkali resistance, brines, with
100 mil corrosion improved resistance to solvents such as methanol, MEK, and monochlorobenzene. Successful
use in abrasive and slurry service above the HDT of Derakane 8084, where toughness and a high
barrier with heavy HDT is required, such as 230F abrasive brine. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2420.
duty structural wall.
DERAKANE 470. Novalac Vinyl Ester; temperature capability of 295-305F, Tensile Elongation
= 3-4%. Excellent resistance to acidic and oxidizing environments, such as aqueous chlorine and
chlorine dioxide. Good solvent resistance. Typical uses: Pharmaceuticals, CPl, pulp and paper,
Agri-chem. Commonly used in chemical waste streams.
SCHEDULE 80 DERAKANE 510 SERIES. 510A and 510C are brominated Derakane 411 resins. 510N is a
60 mil corrosion brominated Novalac fire retardant, commonly used in ducting / vent service for hot gases and
flammable liquids. Bromine also increases resistance to Sodium Hypochlorite environments.
