China

China, official name Peoples Republic of China is a unitary sovereign state


located in East Asia and is worlds most populous country. To its south, lies
Pacific Ocean and in south are thick jungles. Mountains in southwest
connect China with the Himalayas located in the west.
Talking about the basic information about the country,

Its capital is Beijing.


Official language is Chinese.
Total population of the country is over 1.381 billion.
Among most common religion in China are Confucianism, Taoism
and Budhism.
National currency of china is Renminbi also known as RMB.
State power of the country is exercised through the Communist
Party, the central Peoples Government, their local and provincial
representation.
China is a high income country with the PCI of 14,160 PPP dollars.
Culture:
Talking about the culture of China, China is an extremely large country,
and the customs and traditions of its people vary by geography and
ethnicity
More than 1 billion people live in China, according to the Asia Society,
representing 56 ethnic minority groups. The largest group is the Han
Chinese, with about 900 million people. Other groups include the Tibetans,
the Mongols, the Manchus, the Naxi, and the Hezhen, which is smallest
group, with fewer than 2,000 people.
The major cultural aspects of the country include:
1. People: people of China are culturally quite homogenous in nature
and form an emotional bond with each other and people around
them.
2. Religion: number of religions are being followed in the country,
among the most common religion in China are Confucianism, Taoism
and Budhism.
3. Social Conventions: no of conventions are followed socially that
would be difficult for people arund the world to understand, some
are:

Loud conversations
Always remove your shoes when entering a Chinese
household.
Never write someone's name in red.
Little regard for the law.
4. Sports: Popular amateur sports include table tennis, badminton,
martial arts, and various forms of pool. China's professional sports
are in its developmental stages. They also may consist of hacky
sack, or ping pong during their free time.

produced by people of Chinese origin in some territories outside
mainland China using traditional Chinese instruments or in
the Chinese language. It covers a highly diverse range of music from
the traditional to the modern.
