of construction professionals
Good morning Dr,
Here are latest modifying on title proposed.
Problem Statement:
- The scope of software visualization tools which exist for the navigation, analysis and
presentation of software information varies widely. Application of software in works require
much time spent to understanding the complexity of software management and usually this is not
encouraged. Hence, there are some from the small and medium sizes of quantity surveying firm
unable to import high-end technology and computer software.
Alternative proposal:
1. Difficulties for Small and Medium Quantity Surveying Firm in Applying Advance Software
Objectives:
- To identify the current use of software applied by small and medium QS firm
- To identify the factors hampering on applying advance software in small and medium QS firm
- To assess the current use and the prospect of software for increased use of software among
QS.
Scope of research:
- The scope of the research would be emphasized on the small and medium quantity surveying
firm at Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru in West Malaysia. The study will also emphasize on
implementation of advance software which it should help quantity surveyor in working quality
and productivity. It would reveal the benefits for small and medium size of firm in importing
high technology in construction industry and also hurdles of firms to implement while facing
constraints.
2. Critical Survey on Ability of Software for Works of Quantity Surveying in Small and
Medium Quantity Surveying Firm.
Objectives:
- To determine the critical success of applying software in quantity surveying firm.
- To identify the factors impeding among Quantity Surveyors adopt to use of software.
Scope of research:
- The study conducted will focus on the small and medium Quantity Surveying firm located in
West Malaysia. The study outlined the critical factors to applying the software in Quantity
Surveying firm which also increases the application of software technology to the construction
industry in Malaysia.
3. Anticipation of the Issues concerning procurement in Building Information Modeling
(BIM) base construction project
Objectives:
- To identify suitable types of procurement when applying Building Information Modeling (BIM)
from Malaysian BIM committee perspective.
- To identify suitable types of procurement in application of Building Information Modeling
(BIM) from Client perspective.
Scope of research:
- The scope of the research would be quite limited due to the minorities who had implemented the
Building Information Modeling which also name as BIM practically in construction projects.
Albeit the constraining, the study would also survey on overall anticipation parties in detecting
the suitability study on Integrated Project Delivery procurement system.
Problem statement:
- Building information modeling (BIM) causes a fundamental change in the way participants in a
construction project interact with each other, requiring new and significant levels of
collaboration, information sharing, and coordination from the inception of a construction project
through its completion. Somehow, disputes are inevitable in the construction industry. Rather
than being carried away by the psychological nuances that are associated with relational strains
in disputes, construction literature contains a wealth of knowledge on how to make the best of
adversarial relationships.

Best regards

4. Factors affecting the effectiveness of Time Management in Construction Industry
Objective:
- To determine the time allocation and management during construction process.
- To develop a critical factors for developer to ensure project well controlled and coordinated.
Scope of research:
- This research would focus on time management in construction of high rise and housing lot
projects. Time management in high rise building should be distributed well and control all over
the time according to yardstick prepared. Time management always controlled by project
manager and Superintending Officer who assigned by Architect or Client. So responsibilities
would largely fall on the site management.
