OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

Primary objectives

To study the effectiveness of grievance handling mechanism among employees.

Secondary objectives

1. To identify the satisfaction of employees towards duration of grievance

redressal procedure.

2. To study the efficiency of grievance handling procedures on organization and

employees.

3. To identify the factors influencing the effectiveness of the grievance handling

in the organization.

4. To identify the determinants of employee satisfaction with respect to grievance

redressal procedure.

Simple Random Sampling method

Total number of non managerial employees in INSTUMENTTATION LIMITED is 300

Sample size
The size of the sample should neither be excessively large, nor too small. It should
be optimum of 100 employees.

DATA COLLECTION METHOD

Two sources of data collection used here are,

Primary Data

Primary data are those which are collected a fresh and for the first time , and thus happen to
be original in character. And her primary data is collected through structured interview
schedule from employees.

Secondary Data

Are those which have already been collected by someone else and which have already been

passed.

And here secondary data has been collected through company journals, internet, magazines,

brochures etc..

Duration of 15 days was utilized for the purpose of study.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

This study is concentrated to employees of AT INSTUMENTTATION


LIMITED KANJIKODE- A UNIT only.

Sample size was restricted

Personal contract with the respondents was limited.

The management staffs were busy, with their routine work and hence they were

not able to spare much time for interview.

There may be personal bias of the respondents, which affect the result of the
study.
