The Impact on Society

Kids get bullied continuously worldwide and have most likely experienced

depression and anxiety. This can affect education, sleeping, and enjoyable activities

until adulthood. In Super, Daniel, the main character, witnesses his friend getting bullied.

Violence breaks out between his friend Eric, and his school bully, Clay, and he has to

step in and put a stop to it. Eric survives and in the process gets bruised, and hurt

physically and mentally. In todays society, bullying is increasing rapidly and it has

tormented many people.

Bullying is on the rise and it could result in scars that last a lifetime.Bullying has

proven to be damaging and destructive for the pupils as well as for the society at large

(Sandhu). The society has been affected and people have been leaving it alone. It can

truly destroy someones life.In Super, the main character, Daniel, lives a hard life and it

couldnt be better when Clay, his school bully, keeps fighting him in his neighborhood on

his way to and from school. This concludes that people need to stop bullying and stand

up. Two lines of previous research have found that revenge can make people feel

worse, contrary to conventional wisdom about the hedonic benefits of revenge (Eadeh).

Research conveys that revenge can change a persons mood negatively, besides the

satisfactory aspect of revenge. Daniel notices revenge when the Plunketts arrive to

Nobles Green and retaliate for the death of Herman Plunkett. Furthermore, revenge

has two negative and positive reactions. The desire to punish someone for their

misdeeds is the positive reaction and the person receiving revenge is the negative

reaction.

Who a person trusts is important to security and safety in an environment. In

other words, whom someone trust, when, and by how much, mediate the way in which

people living in this area manage their routine daily lives and within that their sense of

security. (Evans). Trusting one another is a big part of a persons daily life. Daniel

bonds with Eric, his best friend, and they agree to keep a secret so none of the other

supers get hurt. This connection they have allows them to keep secrets and trust each

other. People should trust who they know well and their close ones. Curiosity can show

a strong desire to learn something. In the article, Curiosity is not good but its not bad

either, The author discusses whether curiosity is good, bad, or amoral and the effects

of each view on learning (Wong). Curiosity can be bad, however curiosity can help

learn new things. Daniels curiosity leads him into traps in the Plunketts house, but this

allows him to be one step further in knowing about the Plunkett case. This is positive

curiosity Daniel experiences. I think people should encourage positive curiosity so teens

can learn.

People in society live in either a more, or less ordered community. Recent

research depicts these struggles society faces and shows that people should start

making a difference.
