CIRCLE UP (57 minutes)

2 Leaders Bible Background
The Bible is a special book that tells us about Jesus from beginning to end. In
Genesis when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, God promised that one day someone
would come to make everything right again. That someone was Jesus. Because
Jesus was Gods Son, He was with God from the very beginning, at creation. Jesus
is like the door in the ark, providing a way of escape from the coming deluge. He
protected Daniel in the lions den. He was with Joseph in Egypt. He was with Moses
as he received the Ten Commandments. He was with King David. The New Testament
describes how Jesus was born as a baby and grew to become the Savior of the world.
The disciples took the Good News about Jesus and spread it all over the world.

Someday Jesus promised to come back and take us home to be with Him forever.
Explain that todays lesson is all about Jesus. We are going to start in Genesis and
go all the way to the last book of Revelation talking about Jesus.
Show the teaching pictures as you read aloud the information on the back.
Be enthusiastic. Engage the children in conversation about the pictures.
Close your circle time with prayer.
