PURPLE LASER THERAPY:

An Effective Approach to Solving Emotional Problems

ours, healing was accomplished by moving energy.

For Using Dr. Shims Protocol
Purple Laser Therapy
Many years ago, I discovered that I could lower the level of
emotional stress of my patients by waving a laser beam around
the energy field (etheric field) that surrounds their physical body
while they were thinking about stressful situations or traumatic
events of the past. At first I experimented with red and green
lasers (the only colors available at the time) before determining
that the purple laser was most effective for addressing emotional
issues while working in the energy field. I also developed a
sleeve that magnifies the healing effect of the laser light.

After using this technique for many years, I also discovered

that instead of just moving the laser beam around the body, I
could obtain similar results by shining the laser beam on a
picture of the person, on a drop of their blood, or on a sample of
their saliva.

It is difficult to comprehend, but when I use a drop of blood

or a sample of saliva as a representation of the whole person, I
got results faster than when I was using the laser beam on the
persons energy field. Based on the results of muscle tests,
instead of taking minutes to achieve results using the laser on
the energy field, I often would get the same results within
seconds of shining the laser on the blood or saliva samples.
The steps of my protocol

Take a sample of the persons saliva on one end of a Q-tip. Set

the Q-tip aside.
Establish a baseline for the persons muscle test results
where clear weak and strong signals are evident (Can use
happy events vs. unhappy events to do this)
Muscle test while asking questions about the persons
parents (e.g., Think about your mother). Continue with
the mother, father, grandparents, etc. until a weak muscle
test occurs.
Weakness in a muscle test indicates an energetic or
emotional issue between the person and the relative being
tested.
When a weak test result occurs, shine the laser on the Q-tip
while the person is thinking about that relative until the
muscle test becomes stronger. Combine shining the laser
on the Q-tip with shining it directly on the persons energy
field surrounding the body.
When you become convinced that shining the laser on the
Q-tip alone is sufficient to bring the result, you can skip
working with the laser shining on the energy field
surrounding the body.
Expand your questioning to include specific emotions
around the relative (e.g., Think about your mother and
anger, or resentment, or sorrow. As you gain more
experience, you will intuitively learn what to ask.).
Again, shine the laser on the Q-tip while the person is
thinking about that relative and the specific emotion until
the muscle test becomes stronger.
Repeat the procedure with the father, then with the
grandparents on both sides of the family. A weak muscle
test on a grandparent indicates that the specific emotional
issue came down from that branch of the family.
You may also test the prenatal stress levels on the person
while they were still in the womb (e.g., Think about the
moment of your conception, think about when you were a
one month old fetus, and so on...). Muscle test for each
question separately to determine if there were stressful
circumstances at that time, and if there is weakness, use the
laser until the muscle test becomes stronger.
This basic procedure can be repeated with all members of
the family (siblings, spouse, children), as well as with
individuals with whom the person has had interactions or
relationships.
Once you become proficient with this basic procedure it
should only take a few minutes with each person you are
testing them on.
The underlying basis for my procedures is similar to the
principles behind EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique),
also known as tapping. The laser replaces tapping.
The procedure can also be used to determine the time at
which the energetic or emotional issues occurred such as
for early childhood emotional traumas. Start with the
period before the person was 10 years old, and ask them if
they remember any particular traumatic event. Ask them to
rate that specific event on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the
most traumatic), and muscle test the event as well. Use the
laser on the Q-tip while the person recounts the event (same
procedure as above), then ask the person to re-evaluate
their reaction to the event, and muscle test it as well. There
is usually a significant drop in the self-assessment, and a
strengthening of the muscle test reaction.
Repeat for all major traumatic events that the person
recalls, and expand to later stages of life.
This procedure can also be used to address any overriding
destructive belief patterns, such as fear, anxiety, low self-
esteem, anger, etc., that negatively impact their lives.
This procedure not only breaks up negative energy, it also
strengthens and enhances positive emotional energy.
At the end of every session I ask them to see themselves as
healthy, happy, vibrant, worthy and grateful for all that life
has given them. This technique can actually help shift a
persons outlook on life from negativity and pain into a
joyous, productive outlook that will change their lives for
the better.
This procedure can be used for any situation at home,
school or the workplace, for any relationship that is or has
been painful or stressful, for situations in the past or the
present, or to diminish worries of the future.
As you become more comfortable with muscle testing, you
can locate previously unsuspected sources of trauma and
neutralize them. During follow up sessions you can test the
same issue how successful your session was, and repeat
the procedure if necessary.
My laser system has many applications. Emotional stress
relief is just one of them.
Interpreting Results
When a muscle test turns from weak to strong, does this mean
that the emotional issue is resolved? This is a big question I
have been wrestling with for a long time. When the muscle test
becomes strong, I believe that the body is indicating that it is not
stressed about certain aspects of that issue at that time. The next
question is, how long does this hold days, weeks? We can
get the answer by repeating the muscle test for the same issue at
follow up sessions and seeing whether the result has been
sustained. From my experience, within a few sessions, some
serious emotional issues that have troubled patients for a long
time have been resolved.

Many practitioners would agree that unresolved psycho-

emotional issues from our past are major causes of many health
issues. Here I present a simple, very unconventional protocol
that I discovered which shows great promise in addressing the
core issues of our health.

Theoretical Background
All events in life are accurately recorded by the subconscious.
Whether the location of the recording is in the brain or
consciousness itself is not relevant for most practical
applications. A memory can be complete and resolved or it can
be unresolve Unresolved memories can belong to one of two
distinctly different categories:
1. The memory is always present to different degrees
disturbing, haunting, relentless and painful. It keeps the person
from being present in the moment. These patients are often
highly dysfunctional. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
belongs into this category. I refer to this condition as
Unresolved Psycho-Emotional Trauma or UPET.
Significantly traumatic circumstances usually in late childhood
or young adulthood are the cause of this condition.

2. The memory is suppressed into the subconscious, the patient

is not aware of all the details of the original event and of the
psycho-emotional impact it had and still has. These patients (all
of us) are often fairly functional in life but have specific areas of
dysfunction (i.e., problems in their marriage, etc.). I refer to this
condition as Unresolved Psycho-Emotional Conflict or UPEC.

Both UPETs and UPECs are the most common or only

cause of illness, chronic pain, accidents, psychological
problems, relationship and job related problems, etc..
