This website discusses how many people died in total at Auschwitz and it also discusses

the horrible gas chambers. Each gas chamber looked like a plain old shower but instead

of water it had Zyklon B gas pellets. Above each gas chamber was the star of David.

Holocaust Survivors also said that to fool the incoming Jews that the train ramp was

made to look like a regular railway station. About 200,000 inmates survived during 1940-

1945. An estimated 11% of children who were alive in 1933 survived the Holocaust.

Finally, it said that 1.3-1.5 million people were murdered in Auschwitz 90% were Jews.

This website is credible because the web address is an .org address. Also, it had pictures

of the gas chambers inside and outside.

Wiesel, Elie. Night 1st E.D., Hill, and Wang, 2006, New York, NY.

Night by Elie Wiesel explained the whole labor process at Auschwitz. The book also said

that it was a slim chance for woman and children to survive Auschwitz. Each section of

the camp had a different labor camp, everyone at Auschwitz had very poor care, no one

cared about anyone. Many families got spilt up and never saw each other again. Once you

went to Auschwitz life was never the same again. The people who went to Auschwitz got

treated like slaves and if they messed up they went straight to the gas chambers.

Auschwitz was a form of dehumanization; many Jews were worked to death. This source

is reliable because the author Elie Wiesel experienced Auschwitz. This source is reliable

because the book included people like Dr. Joseph Mangle and Hitler. Finally, the book is

also reliable because Elie Wiesels family experienced Auschwitz with him and Wiesel

includes his familys experience as well.
