problems and diversities encountered by managers in both private and public organizations.
Diversity refers to the challenges that individuals face within the working environment place.
However, this article seeks to discuss the ethical issues organizations face when implementing
changes. Managers face numerous moral and ethical affairs concerning diversity every day.
Management practices that are responsibly for social issues and ethics are essential in the
management process. Ethically, managers that act irresponsible to the management of diversity
in their places of work are not sensitive to the needs of their employees. Hence, it becomes too
hard for such managers to implement changes in their organizations. Therefore, there are various
ways managers can hinder ethical issues concerning diversity arising at their workplaces, but
first they must comprehend the moral and ethical matters affecting them.
The primary and common ethical issues that frequently occur in the places of work are
the conflicts among the employees. An employee can get mad to another employee in the
working place due to various reasons. However, it is the obligation of the management staff to
identify the conflict and find a way to resolve it before it is out of hand. This action is supposed
to be taken faster by the managers because it becomes difficult to maintain a productive station
when the employees are not in good terms with each other now and then. Managers are
supposed/ expected to lead by example. They instill the moral confidence in their employees
when they act ethically and positively. Despite them practicing role model, they still face ethical
and moral problems. Therefore, the managers should put into practice daily the responsibility of
ethics and morals among the employees. Some of the social issues if not controlled at an early
stage they lead to the diversity of human resources leading to reduced production in the company
(Baase, 2008).

Another ethical matter that affects most managers when implementing change is the issue
of hiring employees. It might be difficult for most employers to determine whom to hire,
especially if the managers are a little discriminative. Though many companies often say that the
employees will have an equal chance, which is not the case. In addition, personal respect can be
employees at an individual level will enhance the flow of work in the company leading to an
efficient production of products. Being disrespectful to the employees makes them not to respect
the managers too, especially when there is an implementation of a change. Employees that are
disrespected and not recognized will tend to oppose any positive revolution/progress the
company intends to make. Another ethical issue that pervades the place of work is race. Some
employers often favor the employees that they share race with. Managers, who require
implementing change in their working places and being effective, require not to practice
discrimination among the employees. Prejudice of human resources will make the ones
becomes difficult to achieve the change that has been introduced (Gunn, and Taylor, 2014).
Furthermore, a tricky ethical issue might hinder the implementation of change in an
organization. This is ethnicity. Customs are based on ones culture than the race. The manager
may not be aware of all cultures of his/her employees. Different people observe different
employees who they affect. Failure to such, most employees tend to turn up at work, but
completely their minds are at the function of their culture. Implementing a change at that
moment might meet many challenges from the employees. Another ethical hotspot in the
workplace is religion. To avoid moral or ethical dilemmas and misunderstandings among the

employers and employees, each of them needs to comprehend and familiarize with each others
religious beliefs. For instance, a Muslim employee may be having their holy Ramadhan month
and manager jokes on the same hence creating enmity between the two. Thus, if the employee is
assigned some work in the corporation might not take it as of his brother. Hence, the completion
of a change becomes a problem. Also, an employer who takes a Muslim worker at a restaurant
and buy him/her pork may face a challenge when he wants to implement a change as the Muslim
employee might not participate in the change bearing in mind that he/she was frustrated once by
health of employees should be a concern to the employer. Employers are supposed to come up
with a way to maintain the worker healthy. They can do these through the introduction of the
health insurance services. They deduct some money from the employee but also contribute to the
contribution. The employers half contribution towards the health of an organization leads to
employees participation in the industry high resulting in all changes that are implemented to be
worked on. On the other hand, companies with poor health cannot operate hard, and therefore,
carefully, it can lead to the implementation of changes difficult. For example, workers working
under same conditions but with different levels of experience, and the one with low qualification
getting promotion might lead to the employee with high qualifications getting discouraged and
understand their employees to foster a productive environment that can enable implementation of
changes in their organizations. Good rapport between the employers and employees, also
facilitate resolving of conflicts within the workplace. However, for the best production in a

company, both the worker and the employer should respect each other according to the positions
