Instructions:
The teacher will provide you with a text written in Microsoft Word which
name is WannaCryOnTheNews.doc. You can find it . It is a long document
and you are going to make some modifications on it in order to make it
more easy to manage and more clear. We will add a cover page, a table
of contents and a table of figures. You will have to upload the result to
Scribd web and you will make it accessible from your web page.

5. Make a numbered list with the names of the newspapers, it means,
each name should be in order, but using the word option Numbered
List:

Fox News
Xataka
6. Insert a table of contents (TOC) for the document. This TOC has to
appear in page number 2, after the cover page.
7. Change the style for the news headings to the style Heading 2.
8. Update the TOC to show the heading 2. Only the names of the
newspapers and the headings of the news must be displayed.
9. Modify the Nomal style as follows :
Font: Arial
Font style: Regular
Size: 11
Font color: black
Alignment: justified
Line spacing: 1,5
10.Apply the Normal style you have just created to the body of each
new.
11.Update the TOC (whole document).
12.Search for the text RANSOMWARE: WHAT IS IT? and make it an
hyperlink to the webpage
http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2017/05/15/ransomware-what-is-
it.html.
13.Search for the words este mapa interactivo (xataka) and remove
the link on it.
14.Finally you will create a table of figures. To do so:
Insert labels or captions to each image in the document. Use
the following labels in order:
i. Figure 1: Wanna Decryptor screenshot from an infected
computer
ii. Figure 2: Wallpaper installed for infected computers
iii. Figure 3: WannaCry spread all over the world
Insert a list of figure in the third page of the document.
15.Upload the final document to Scribd web.
16.Publish in your blog the result of your work. Explain in the post that
you have been working the advanced use of Word like styles
advance management, fonts and paragraphs, inserting cover page,
hyperlinks, page header and footer and table of contents and table of
figures.
