withCineForm444insteadandgetthejobdone.Youstillhaveamuchhigher

andrightnowthereisno"optimal"workflowwithoutquirks.
DNGtoResolve9.1.5:OnmyfootageIclearlyseejumping"greenfringing"on
brightedges.Seemypreviouspost.

SeemslikeResolveisoptimizedforspeedandisinterpretingtheDNGsor
cDNGsdifferentlythanAdobeCameraRAW.Thisfringingisnotalwaysvisible
butit'sannoying.
ThesamefringingisvisibleinCineFormclipswhenusingthe"Despeckle/Dead
PixelFix"slider(settoanythingabove0)intheGoProStudioPremium
AdvancedSettings.
OntheothersidetheAdobeCameraRAWworkflowresultsinmuchcleaner
output(duetonoisereduction,sharpening...)butit'snotreallyaRAW
workflow.Youcanonlyadjustoncewhenimportingthefiles.Andnorealtime
scrubbing...

correctinACRandthansaveasabalancedDNGandthengradeisResolve.

amountfromyourcomputer,andthefastertheprocessor(3.2ghzwouldbe
optimal)thelessyouwillhavetowaitduringexports/renderingandwhatnot.
SSD'sarethebest,butexpensive.Makesureyourhardrivehas7200rpm
(shouldbeagiven),andatthebareminimum8gbofRAM(Ihave16onmy
laptopandit'samazing.)Hopethathelped

I'vebeenusingworkflow#3,andhaveaquestionaboutthefinalstep,
exportingfromPP.I'vebeengoingthehighestqualityroute(avi
uncompressed),andendingupwitharidiculouslylargefile15gbfor2
minutesthatwon'tevenplaybackproperlyonmycomputer.Anythoughts?
